    No. It's a different plug.

Oh, OK. I couldn't tell if you were looking for one or if you found a good one. No, I don't know any.

Something I made, I don't really have any games. Actually, the first thing I'll play is an empty irrlicht window, to see how many FPS I'll get. A friend with a 460m got 1500 with a few 2d images loaded, no collision and a draw distance of like 10,000, and my old computer got... I think it was 400 with a draw distance of 1 and nothing loaded.

    EDIT: post 1000 :D

Can anyone put up pics of the NP9150 compared to something like an iPhone or iPad? I would like to see how big and thick it is. I hear normal 15" sleeves don't fit on it. Also, would love to see how big and heavy that 180w AC adapter is.

    Thanks guys!

Reguarding FPS in metro 2033. I do not use fraps so I cant give an exact fps. I will tell you that at 740 core and 1650memory clocks the game runs smotthly at highest settings! I am still waiting on driver support though. I tried the modified drivers for 300.34 and they crash all my games. I score 40146 on 3dmark 11 at those scores and it runs really cool! I have never tested it regular clocked. I want the best out of the machine. As far as portability I bring it to work everyday! I love it. Everyone is jealous! lol. The only thing that is a pain is the adapter. Also for cooling I am using the cooler master u2 for 14inch laptops and it works perfect!

Edit: the score on 3dmark11 was 4146. :)

This may be a noob question but would having an ssd hard drive or msata drive improve my 3dmark 11 score or have a good increase for gaming? Currently right now I have a 750gb 7200rpm hard drive and a bluray player. I cant use the odd bay for a hard drive because i need the otical drive. Would the msata make that much of a difference to be worth it. If yes would it be beneficial to use the msata as a caching hard drive (at 64gb of space) or a bootable drive? (at 128gb of space)

If all I'm doing is some light gaming (old school games like Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, Sims 3, Age of Empires :p) along with some intermediate engineering programs (AutoCAD, Revit), do you think this thing will last me all four years of college? Does the P150EM have the physical durability to last that long?

An SSD wont help games at all, but it will make the computer a much more enjoyable experience overall, much less laggy. I would suggest adding a 64GB mSATA drive to your existing setup as a caching drive. The other option would be to ditch the 750GB and go with just a single SSD, but large ones are fairly expensive.

SSD will help the load times in a game, so games like Skyrim will load instantly lol

Gonna order NP9150 on tuesday from Eurocom.

    Future order:
    LCD Display FHD 1920x1080; MATTE; 95% NTSC; 500:1; AUO B156HW1 V.4
Web Camera 2.0 Megapixels; FHD 1920x1080; 30fps; w/ Samsung HD controller
    Integrated Fingerprint Reader
    GPU 1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GTX 660M;384 CUDA;128-bit;GPU/VRAM Clock (28nm)
CPU 2.30 GHz (up to 3.30) Intel Mobile Core i7-3610QM (22nm)
    RAM 8GB; 2x 4GB; DDR3-1600; PC3-12800; CL11; 204-pin;
    SSD CRUCIAL M4 256GB SSD
    Keyboard Backlit; English; USA/Canada
8x Multi DVD +-RW/-RAM Burner; Dual Layer; Tray Load; SATA
WI-FI module (Bluetooth) 2-in-1; 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth V3.0 Module; Half Mini-Card PCIe Adapter

    A few questions:
    1) Some people say that is better to buy higher than stock WI-FI module like intel centrino or even more expensive one, someone plz tell any good reason for that? I will use it with casual 150mb/s router.
    2) Also please someone tell me about drivers and other software for this laptop, i gonna upgrade stock hard drive to ssd and install whole system on it, is there any faq for this Sager? I already have big experience in that, but it's my first Sager notebook. Any driver installation order?
    3) I have Zalman thermal paste, is that reasonable to use it instead stock one?
    4) I am still thinking about loudness and temperatures, will i7 3610 + gtx 660 produce much heat=noice under load? Mostly my girlfriend will play on it and she sometimes had headake from loud computer noice.

    Thank you for the answers.

pls have diablo3 and bf3 running, i'm planning to buy the p150em from sager in the summer and i play mostly d3 and bf3, so i'm super curious, even though i'm not sure if to buy the gtx675m or the 7970m (some say with the right driver support, it will eat the gtx675m)

Anyone know Xotic pc's phase structure. Like how long it takes phase 2 (production) to finish. The estimate is too broad. If you live in Canada or on eastern US please reply but any help would be great.

Good enough for internet access, sure. What is your internet download speed? The standard card is 150Mb/s.

The only reasons to upgrade are if you want dual band, or you transfer a lot of large data files between computers on a local WiFi network as opposed to using it mostly for internet access.

The WiFi card should be more than enough for basic use/gaming.

The installation of an SSD will be extremely easy; you remove the bottom of the laptop [with a small screwdriver] and pull out the old HDD and pop in the SSD. It should take no more than 5 minutes MAX. It will work just fine no drivers needed; hard drives are plug and play.

The noise and heat won't be an issue; especially with the 660m.

I'm ordering literally this same exact build but with 7970m graphics card and 1333mhz RAM. No need for 1600mhz. 256GB Crucial m4 should be awesome; I already have mine ready to install. Going to sell the 500GB Hybrid drive to a friend for cheap to cover some of the cost.

Really excited I should get mine at the end of next week finally; I'm sure you are too :D

They have 10% discount for students. Also they have very friendly support.

Thank you, but i was asking about installing the drivers and whole system (drivers for hardware) on Sager, not the ssd itself. The drivers will come on disks or on stock hdd?

Should i ise something loke dropbox YouTube etc. I wamt ro use whatever is free. Also when using an msata hard drive as a cache drive do you have to reinstall windows or will it be as simple ss flipping it on in bios?

A phase is a phase. Depending on parts and the current queue rate for the shop it is hard to tell.

Bigfoot is rated best to go through obstructions. There are some benchmarks though. I think the 6300 is best throughput for large files. For lots of little files...aka gaming the bigfoot seemed to perform better... but best to check the wireless forums if you are not sure. Some of the benchmarks are funny and you'd have to see for yourself. If you do go for bigfoot there are still lots of concerns about the software, but the card itself seems to perform better for obstructed or long range wireless.

Edit: bigfoot is bigfoot software over an atheros card...

Remember that the mSATA port is SATA II. If you use an mSATA SATA III device it will only run at SATA II speeds.

Well, 1600MHz ram actually has a use now... It gives heavy (15%) performance gains on the iGPU.

Well, good, as long as it wasn't for any kind of early arrival thing. They've been known to advertise early shipping dates, then either delay them or give out ES parts.

    I'd go youtube.

    Whose website?

Cool thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure it didn't make a difference. Also, my laptop will be coming w/ no OS installed, obviously since I'm using the M4 hard drive... Do we have a thread going on here that will show all the drivers I'll need to download that won't be coming along w/ the computer so I can have that ready when it gets here?

SSD should be plug-and-play so no drivers required!
