Good for you man! Could you check this for me?

what is your customization on your laptop 95% gamut? calibration? if without calibration, I want to know if the screen look good enough that I don't need calibration. How about portability? Is it heavy? just curious? :D

create hype before unit arrive the end of the month

Just thought i'd throw this out here, not sure if it this was there before (i sure didn't notice it) but Sager's website has this posted under the specs for the NP9150:

Switchable GPU by AMD Enduro™ Technology - AMD Radeon™ HD Graphics / Intel® GMA HD GPU

    AMD Radeon™ HD 7970M Graphics

so it seems as though when they ship they'll come with Enduro, which is great news

This is my 11th full day in production... I'm a bit anxious considering it's a 5-12 day build time.

    Hmmm.

I am speccing out a P150EM on the major sellers here. Why is it that Mythlogic has an option for two full HDs and an optical drive, when the other seller configs only allow an mSata 80GB OS or cache drive and HD and then a second HD requires giving up the optical drive? I'd like something like a 750 GB HD, 250 GB SSD, and a BluRay burner. I must be missing something?

worse situation man you'll just upgrade to a 680 when it's out, and if that doesn't match up to the performance just get the 7970 later (assuming you have the budget)

I thought it was already stated that if you go with the Nvidia cards, there's no way to upgrade to the AMD cards due to a difference with the video cards... the motherboard is not cross-combatible with both manufacturers? Anybody else see that same thing?

Eurocom has posted some type of AMD video driver for their Racer 2.0 (P150em). I was unable to load them on my macbook in bootcamp, but someone else may have more success.

From what i've seen from other members here, they're upgrading their nVidia cards to the 7970 as well. So i don't think it's a motherboard. It would make no sense for sager to offer an AMD and nVidia card if they required different boards. What you will need to wait for is for the clevo 7970's to release though, since there is a vbios difference between the clevo and the dell and etc.

I'm leaving the country on June 24th and will be gone for 5 weeks. There is a good chance if I got the 7970m, I would get it in time, but I can't wait and want the laptop ASAP. To give you an idea, this is my first gaming computer. I've been using a Gateway laptop from 2008. It has a 3650m haha. So either way, going from a 3650m -> 675m/7970m will be a life changing experience lol.

    MYTHLOGIC :: Mobile Comparison Chart

I would say wait for when you get back. If you run into problems it will be a huge hassle to deal with RMA.

I don't know if you did this or not...Did you remove the screw holding it in place? I think it's located in the main hard drive compartment at the bottom. Once that is removed you should be able to push it out.

That is a great price. But I suspect the Mythlogic order page is allowing me to add the second HD with the internal optical drive just because they assume you won't choose a second HD when you pick an optical drive.

I may just switch to the P170EM. Gotta go read that thread now, LOL!

    Thanks for the help mate.

To anyone whos interested you can get the service manual for the laptop from here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...m-upgrade-guide-please-keep-thread-clean.html

The service manual has instructions for installing a second HDD and for getting access to the RAM underneath the key board. Enjoy!

That's correct. There's not a safe guard that stops you from picking and ODD and two HD's.. They would caught it in sales and notified you though. If you need 750GB storage and want to keep the optical drive internal, why not get one of the hybrid drives? Or a 750Gb HD + mSATA SSD (enable SRT) + ODD? Talk with Myth and tell them what you want, and they'll advise you as to what parts you should get

The moment production information is available, i'm sure the forums will be swamped with it. Including posts from the resellers themselves. Like everyone else patience is key. Only a few more weeks until we're there!
