However what Pmanuk has said rings true......itsvery quiet the screen and feel of the whole machine reeks quality so theres at least two of us that are veryvery happy -
-
Is anything really optimized for Quad though? Just curious. I have both sitting here (x9100 and QX9300) so I certainly can put either one in and sell the other. Just seems like there's not much that is quad capable so is there a benefit.

When/if you do I'll get back into it. I'm currently testing different drivers. I still like the 186.24 drivers for 06.

Winphlash should back it up.

i am using 6.05, 03 bugged on me
02 works too -
for those that didnt know how to dump the BIOS with winphlash.
1.)
Download the "Phoenix Winpflash Utility".
For example from here:
ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/util...sh-utility.zip
After this, install and run the "Phoenix Winpflash Utility".
2.)
Choose: "Backup BIOS only"
3.)
It may sound crazy but you now will take ANY phoenix bios
for example from acer:
ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/extensa_3000/bios/3a06_intel.zip
You can also take any other (256K/512K/1024K) Phoenix BIOS updates.
4.)
Extract and add the .wph file from the mentioned
example BIOS file: 3a06_intel.zip to the: "Specify new BIOS file" -field
and choose: "Advanced settings".
5.)
Then deselect all clickboxes and press Ok.
6.)
Now press: "Backup BIOS"
7.)
Accept the following message/ info dialog box...:
...and go on with backup your BIOS.
8.)
When backup process is finished...
...you sould see the BIOS dump...
kalt check you pm's please -
Ok as you can see
GPU's now at 630/1025/1525
Physx's is off

its too sexeh to leave at stock! -
now what to do!!! -
gradually build up to it
i run at 280 most of the time
but be gentle its a fine art mate -
-
-
kalt i send you a special modified winphlash that will be able to make a dump for use that i can make flashable back to the machine.
this is modified to combine the production bios' platform data with the one you have at the time of the dump then i can make it flashable and make a flash.bat for it. then everyone could enjoy bios' overclocking if you are willing ill put it all together for them. see your pm and let me know -
Heres my final scores for today (the missus is on her way)
Ok CPU at 280
GPU's at 630/1025/1525
driver is 190.38Attached Files:
