I’d be interested in seeing some game benchmarks comparing ReBAR on/off to confirm that it’s working. You can use Nvidia Profile Inspector to modify ReBAR settings (instructions at the bottom of this page).

Well given the current pricing of everything, only slightly inflated, where did you source it from?

    Hello guys!
Has anyone tried installing 9900KF in P770DM?
I'm currently running i5 6600K (4.5/1.305V) and want to make an upgrade, but I want stable clocks around 4.7 Ghz of all 16 threads.
Anyone has experience about 9900K/9900KF in P770DM?

You are likely going to need some extensive cooling modifications to hold 4.7Ghz

I can't make FM cooling mods for now =(
What stable clocks for P770DM with 9900KF I can achieve?
And maybe I should look on 8700K OC 4.7?

I’m not sure how you expect to handle a CPU with 50-100% more cores than your 6600K with HT on top, at a higher clock speed even. That’s just a pipe dream.

I have a 9700F and I am running 90c in certain titles and cant hold the 4.5Ghz. I have to limit the iccmax to something like 105a and I have a fan that is double the size of stock, I still have more work to do with this machine to attempt holding 4.5Ghz in everything that I do.

8700k seems to be a much better fit thermally.

6600K running 4.5Ghz / 1.305 V on all cores with TDP = 85W without any problem. I'm using for now cheapest GD900 on whole Aliexpress and with these specs CPU running 75-80 C on aida64 AVX test.

Thank you for information! I will search for a good 8700K (Maybe delided) =)

My 8086K with a -115mV undervolt at 4.7GHz uses over 160W in Prime95 and thermal throttles within a minute or two on max fans. And I have significantly better cooling than you, with upgraded 17-blade 12V fans, the significantly beefier P750TM1 GTX 1080 heatsink, a taller IHS and K5 Pro for better contact, de-lid, and liquid metal on all surfaces,. I think you’re underestimating how much heat output the higher core count with Hyper-Threading chips are compared to your 6600K in AVX tests.

Edit: P95 Small FFTs AVX on vs. AVX off (only ran each for less than a minute cuz temps):

Nope. They won't work with the heatsink as the mounting holes are in very different locations.

Yes, that's right, there are no branded radiators for rtx30xx for these laptops, there are only custom-made heatsinks, but this is not a problem.
There are also modified fans for the p870 and p775 / 750 with improved air density.

I installed these fans in the p870tm, while in the testing stage, at the moment I can say that in idle mode the temperatures dropped by an average of 5 degrees, in the productive mode it was possible to adjust the fan curve with maintaining temperatures in the region of 70-75 degrees at 60-70 percent fan speed, if you turn on the maximum speed forcibly, the temperatures drop and stabilize around 62-65 degrees. In terms of operating noise, it is probably a little noisier than the standard ones, but only at maximum speeds, in other modes they also make noise like standard coolers.

That sounds like a solid improvement. From the looks of it the fans use the same shroud/cover, but the actual blade housing is from a different fan?

No, these fans were created on the basis of standard 00Dm2, new impellers were made on a 3d printer, and then calibrated and balanced.

Hi. Can this be done for the P870DM as well? Or have it been done? They are 5V and not 12V as the newer P870 models. Thanks.

I think you could add a step-up converter to the 5v rail and have 12v out for the fans.

These temperatures are with GTX 1080, RTX 2080 or 3080? And on modded custom cooler or stock P870TM/KM/DM3 heatsink? Also what thermal paste are you using?

Not sure how reliable this will be for the main fans. 3 fans as you know in the P870. This isn’t exactly as the small 4th custom fan in the Tm1.
If you looked at the pict in the post above it clearly show 3080 (means you have to use the custom heatsink).

No, I mean you would need to wire up a step-up converter for each 5v voltage source, so one for each fan.

I order them from a master in China, unfortunately there is no direct link to him, I work with him via messenger. I can order a batch of such fans and put them on Ebay, but they are quite expensive, since they are DIY.

I tested it on rtx3080, but I think on cards of other generations the result will be + - the same, thermal paste was used Prolimatech PK-3, the radiator was custom as in the photo above.

You tested the 3080 in a P870 Chassis?

Will the 3080 work in a P775TM1? Is there any custom heatsink for the P775TM1 for a 30xx card??

The 775tm does not need a custom bios, although a bios from Dsanke is also suitable, but the driver still has to be modified, at least until someone adds id rtx30 to the bios.

Also, a mutant QTJ0 processor is coming to me, I want to run it on p870tm1-G with the latest BIOS from Dsanke. I think there will be an interesting experiment)))) Intel QTJ0:10 gen Comet Lake-H i9-10980hk R0 8C 2.8-4.7GHz 16MB L3 65W TDP. It currently holds the highest boost clock for any mobile ES chip. The Rocket Lake ES seem to boost to 5GHz, before those become obtainable to the general public, this should hold the highest boost clock on an ES along with QTB2.

Am I right that this mod should allow me to upgrade my clevo P771-DM-G from I5 6600 to gen 9 maximum??
    What does "RTX supported mean"?
Someone in other thread said my laptop can't support anything and I quoute "Anything past the 10 series won't work as the only MXM cards are from Clevo and are shaped weird while needing external power."

Not sure what that means but yeah

This is a bios mod for a GPU right? or motherboard or both. I don't quite understand.. Also all the images in the OP are gone.
