These modified bios are valid for many users of laptops on the Clevo platform and the fact that you do not quite understand why they are talking about only one thing, you should not even start making modifications yourself, it is better to find specialists in this field and entrust them with these procedures. on the p771dm model with these modified bios, you can get support for 9 gene processors, the installation of better matrices, support for rtx series cards, you can install mxm cards from MSI on your model after a slight modification of the case.

Which RTX cards are supported 2000 and 3000 series? But only when made with a slight modification to the case?

You can do without modifying the case, consider options for NVIDIA Quadro RTX mxm 3.0 cards.NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000/4000/5000/6000

Interested in a heatsink and fans :) Pending the price of course lol

Especially if they should work on 30xx, then I can make it a long term investment type of thing.

I'm intrigued, if they could help to keep my GTX1080 cooler under sustained load (MSFS takes it to 91 C). Are these liquid metal compatible? Where would one order, if interested?

It's certainly going to help, so long as your contact with the core is very good.

I agree that mxm cards have always been expensive, but 30 series cards are at least one and a half times more expensive than 20 series cards at the start of sales.RTX 2080 Clevo at the start of the sales could be purchased for $ 1200, now it can be purchased for $ 1000, and rtx3080 Clevo lowest price I've seen $ 1720 and that's excluding delivery and customs duties.

These radiators significantly improve cooling, for even greater performance of the cooling system, you can install custom fans. Regarding the order of these goods, we are working on this issue, most likely we will be able to arrange for residents of Europe and the United States to purchase on the Ebay site with delivery from Russia.

That's the same setup I have. You shouldn't get near thermal throttling unless you have a core contact issue. I suggest replacing the stock thermal pads with K5 Pro as the tolerances between the different height components on the board are simply too tight for thermal pads IME. Once you fix the contact with K5, that also allows you to use LM.

Interesting. This doesn't make the board messy or make the heatsink difficult to remove later (e.g. to remove dust)? Any advice for how to apply it? I assume it gets dabbed on the top of the VRMs, etc. and then the heat sink is pushed down; wondering how to know whether the 'dab' is appropriately sized.

I have K5 Pro aswell only on the CPU Heatsink, its kinda messy yes, but it non conductive so no worry. You kinda need to put a lot on every Vram, it gets really squezed with the Heatsink for a perfect contact, the excess is just getting pushed aside. I find it very good but messy :). but i dont mind.

It is messy, but the gains are worth it. If in doubt, apply more than necessary. Too much is better than too little.

Just to follow up on this, I made a fairly liberal application across the VRMs around the CPU/GPU and the GPU RAM, etc. and it seems to have pulled the peak temperature down to 84 C on the 1080. CPU was largely unaffected, but it was easier there to tune the thermal pads originally because the periphery requiring heatsink contact was much closer and a credit card could be used to project from the top of the CPU outwards, so I think that was pretty close to ideal, but it seemed better to go all-in on the goo. The GPU, though, as you mention, is just insanity with varying heatsink and component levels.

Thanks so much for making me aware of this option; I hadn't known about it at all.

Usually I hand tweak the pad thickness and use impression tests from thermal paste (after an eyeball test with it sitting flat outside the chassis) to check all is good.

If you have a vapor chamber on that KM you will have no chance of fitting a RTX 3080 (fitting mounts in different position)
