Hi Everyone, I'm using P870TM1-G(P870TM1_TM1), i7-8700K, GTX1080.I just bought cpu i9-9900K and want to install . Just asking anyone the custom bios running good? Which I should install ? More stable bios for i9-9900K
    P870TM_B0511.rom
    P870TM_B0511_67th.rom
    P870TM_B0715.rom.
Anyone have YouTube videos for tutorial install @dsanke bios?
"The reason we do not need to SHORT the two pins at the top is because we have already injected the bios and microcode into the motherboard, therefore the cannon lake cpu should be recognised just fine!"

Is Z370 motherboard should must short two pins?using kapton tape?

My vbios version is upper than 0x30006, that is 0x30009 must skip this process?

    hope anyone free can answer,
    Thank you

You should read this topic more and more.

There is a guide inside the OP files with a excel saying which cpu supports what and what file you need.

The chipset z370 doesn't need the two pins covered. Its said in OP.

Read and read and read and read more.

All your questions have already been answered.

BTW you didn't inject any BIOS in the motherboard (LOOOOOL had to laugh at this). BIOS for your model already supports 8th and 9th gen from factory with stock bios.
The BIOS chip is flashed if ya flash a bios firmware in it. You don't inject anything..

Dsanke BIOS will give ya only unlocked options.

Just put the new cpu in the socket and you should be good to go

    Thank you @KLICHO ,

Thank you @joluke, my bios stock clevo 1.05.11 (2017/2018) February 2018 support i7-8700k but not i9-9900K coming on quarter 4 2018, I install my i9-9900K but cannot boot at all. I read only 1.07.15 bios only supports i9-9900k because new bios version.. After that I change back to i7-8700 for now the laptop can turn on back. Should remove the battery CMOS?or other solution update stock bios to 1.07.15 from clevo or I should install the dsanke bios
    P870TM_B0715.rom version 1.07.15?

    here my bios info

    Double post:

In the last days I did some reinstall of drivers on the P750DM-G because the keyboard backlight did not start automatically.

Suddenly spotted that the lightbar option was gone, tried everything even clean windows and reflashed BIOS, but lightbar is gone.

I assume the EC firmware broke?

Also I flashed a backup of the 2nd EC firmware, but no changes at all.

In the end, is it dangerous to install drivers on modded BIOS?
I spoted now that the laptop works a little different, hwinfo64 now loads in a few moments, before today it took almost 10 seconds to load.

Did you verify the flash with the programmer? Incomplete contact can allow the programming attempt to seem like it succeeds, but isn't complete. It's useful to verify after the flash to ensure things are correct.

@dsanke , do you think that the CCC drivers can break system configuration? (assuming that BIOS and EC firmware reflash does not help)

Or other flash chips from the MB might have been corrupted/changed?

Back with same question, anyone else with lightbar option gone from the app?
I was about to convert it to touchpad backlit, but without being able to control the color it's no point of doing this.

    Hi guys.
    I have a problem. I bought a p775dm3 barebone + 1080, which happen to have this bios ( previous owner was running with a 9900k ).
I put a 6700k on it, and everything works fine appart from 1 annoying point. CPU is stuck to 800mhz. I tried fresh intall, default bios settings, but it doesn't solve the problem. And i'm not competent enough to know every bios options.
Would you have an idea how to solve this problem ? As it is at 800mhz, oc the computer is unusable.

    Thanks for your time.

Not nice... how can i do that without programmer or technical knowledge.
Can i flash back to a stock bios ?

And another thing, the computer was working fine with previous owner.

edit : i changed cpu vr current limit to disabled, and now it raised to 2.2ghz under stress.
according to xtu, it seam that edp is enabled, but cant find where to disable it...
edit 2 : Damafiagamer, thanks to him, told me to flash with a stock bios as my cpu is not fully compatible with this bios ( 6700k ), but it doesn't want to downgrade, as it says rom file size does not match existing bios size.

Is there a way to force it ?

Might be worth picking up the 9700k or similar so that you don't risk bricking it.

Ok i successfully upgraded my P870DM3-G with i9 9900KF R0. Only problem was with throttlestop at first launch. I had to boot into safe mode and delete throttlestop folder. After reset everything worked without any issues. Then I launched clear ts, applied for testing 4.0 ghz on all cores with 0.65 undervolt and increased power to 120A. Here quick 3dmark11 https://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/13909909. Maximum undervolt becouse I didn't apply new thermal paste. Only scrapped and resused monthly phoyba nanogrease extreme.

    Guys,
I have made few posts, that I had hard time with dsanke bios on my 751dm2. Finally we managed to write the DMx version on the MB (debugger show some issues which was delete). Could it be the EC? Someone told me, that old EC could also result black screen. How can I check EC version? thx

It works, but I have no idea why I have black screen with dsanke mod... I might think it is the EC. Now it works with the DM bios version, however I would like to put RTX card in the 751dm2, so I need rtx version dsanke bios, and I still do not know why I receive black screen even though I wrote with programmer....

Hi guys hopefully someone can advice. Have a P770dm-g with @dsanke bios mod. Currently there is 9600kf and quadro m4000m l. The issie is that GPU wont boost in 3d.
In bios insee that it connected in PEG slot as PCI-ex16 Gen1 (which keans that it will work in PCIe 1.1 mode instead of 3.0
Cant deal with this (GPU is fully ok tested on another laptop).
Cant force.card to work in Gen3 mode :(
Tried hp Vbios (doesnt work at all)Tried Nvidia vbios (same thing)
Currently operation under 07 Dell vbios (o
Also tried OC ones. Nothing help.... Always in PCIe 1.1 limited core clocks...

Also tested with quadro m3000m - totally same thing... :(

You might be able to force PCIe speed on the BIOS, but PCIe 1.1 wont limit the GPU to lower clocks, either you have broken drivers, or there is some EC crap going on..

Have you already removed all drivers with DDU and try different versions?
