Is your actual CPU supported by the original BIOS?
In other words, why did you have dsanke BIOS in the first place, thats is usually done to use unsupported CPUs, so is your CPU supported by the original BIOS?
-
So if bios chip is near wifi card kbc is under wifi card so what is this chip under keyboard ?
-
-
Yes Now I put I7 7700K oryginał bios support this cpu and dsake too

If you have a programmer, dump its contents and post here.
But there seems to be a J FLASH1 and JFLASH2, so maybe you can indeed program both EC's via the keyboard interface, either putting a short into the JFLASH1 or JFLASH2 connectors.
But still, try programming you BIOS with a working BIOS dump first before buying anything. -
The issue he is posting in video is not related with BIOS, but could be hardware or the EC controllers firmwares. -
So if the flashrom software only accept the file size equals ROM size , just append some 0xFF at the end.moral hazard likes this. -
The BIOS chip is this one under the metal plate in the middle under the keyboard as well:
I used a dremel to cut the metal, so you need to disassemble the WHOLE machine to reach it
Its not the one you posted!
The chip is well hidden under the metal plateLast edited: May 15, 2020moral hazard, electrosoft and IllusiveMan like this. -

Best way to confirm is dump the contents of the chip and try to open it with AMIBCP, which you can download here:

Any idea about this?
I have updated finally my 751dm2 with dsanke bios. It was very difficult as it started with black screen. We tried both rtx and dm versions but black screen. The cpu was 8600k, the pins were covered with kapton tape. We have also tried with two different gpus, 1080 and 1060, both with the gop modified vbios. Still nothing black screenAfter my friend (ex dell engineer) with debugger modified some cpu id lines in the bios, and after that it worked perfectly.
So at the moment everything seems to be ok, however it is the DMx version, not the RTX version, and I am planning to buy a clevo rtx card (most probably 2070).
Do you have any idea what could be the issue? I am afraid that we cannot fix with the rtx version bios hance the whole purchase would be useless. For the summer I planned to make a mobile gaming laptop as I travell pretty much every week. -

-go to bios and set off you thunderbolt port
-test id you usb c (classic with tout rog phone) works
Thanks a lot because if this work... i have THE USB C BUG TOO -
EDIT: Disabling thunderbolt via BIOS, makes the ports stop working, only can charge my phone.. no data access. Re-enabling thunderbolt, makes the port behave normallyLast edited: May 15, 2020 -

Could you help me where I can find more versions of 7xxDMx_RTX bios file? What I have tried resulted in black screen on my 751dm2. I might have luck with older/newer versions.
Thanks in advance -
