    Hi I have a few question for mySN (EU or DE) about A522 and payment and shipping to Poland. I sent an email but it was retured by your SPAM filter.
    Is us-international keyboard layout the standard-standard one? like

    I am going to pay by bank transfer because Paypal fees are not so low.(converting currencies etc)
    I would appreciate if you could send me details about your bank
    account so I can calculate which payment methond is better for me. I
    read in FAQ section that you don't charge for bank transfer, but as I
    have student bank account I don't know how much international transfer
    is going to cost me until I get account details.
    And one last thing. I just want to make sure. Is shipping to Poland
    just 35 EUR without any hidden fees?

    just a guess but the email might have been returned due to the holidays and their inbox being full.

    its a little confusing as the gallery pictures show the same key layout on the UK/EU/DE websites mySN EU | XMG | by Schenker Notebooks - XMG A522 15.6" Notebook
    all have a large return key but as far as i know the return key is half size like in your link.

    after a google search i found this layout below which is the same as your link. mysn will be able to clarify this for you.

    I ordered a P502 on Jan 3rd with a student discount.

    I sent an email with my student ID card, and I didn't receive confirmation or response back yet.

    Since you seem to be very fast in answering questions on these forums, I want to ask a question: Is it possible to change my payment method to Paypal? This is because I have discovered that my original choice (wire transfer) will take 3-4 days.

    Considering experience I am currently having with mySN, you are getting express service from them ;)

    I am still waiting on P502 I've ordered 2 months (!) ago, and they haven't even coherently replied what is the latest delay or when I could hope to finally get it.

    This is made me think considering that my year-ago experience was completely opposite and service was very prompt. Hopefully mySN is not going bust or something.

    have you spoken to them on live chat to ask whats happening.

    its times like this when mysn could do with their own dedicated forum for customers and owners.

    You bet, I have a support ticket open for it which even marked "Critical".
    My order was a bit non-standard (I wanted non-backlit keyboard which wasn't in stock back then, also I wanted standard gamut screen), but they've promised they will build it properly - then I received it with incorrect (backlit) keyboard just after New Year. So I've sent it back, again they've promised they will re-do everything properly, etc, etc (this was middle of January), and since then all I've got from UK support are excuses that "sorry, production is too busy" and promises that it will be properly sorted out, but not even a proper update what is the hold up and the estimated timeframes.

    @ Ingvarr: there have been some (i.e. two) mishaps with your order but AFAIK it's being sorted out momentarily. We shipped a replacement unit to our UK offices for you but due to some "human error" it has again been produced with backlit keyboard. We're sorry you have not been kept up to date as of lately.

    People needs sometimes make them dizzy...
    2 months,well oh well ,is enough time to get things done,in 2 months timilne there are no excuses... I think you had to and must to push the reseller to get your product that you paid for or at least request your money back and find another reseller?
    You work your money and you spend your money according your needs.even if it's 1£ or 10k £ it's time you spend working hard for products you want...(at least .de have great reputation all over the net).

    You have to excuse me, it's not that mySN is not a trustfull reseller , good or bad , it's all about money you gave and products that never delivered as you wanted/paid for em.

    I know, but I wanted to give them fair chance - because I bought my previous laptop from them a year ago and they were really good back then. Also I expected *some* delay because of holidays and they planned to get non-backlit chassis back in stock at start of January - but I didn't expect it to be twice as much :)

    I did fair amount of pushing, but I didn't want to rush them too much either, because I know that mistakes happen more when you rush. But it happened anyway. Oh well.
    Also obviously I could just decide that I was fed up with it and go to other reseller - but I thought that I will waste more time this way if I'd start order from scratch with different reseller, and made a mistake thinking that been patient with completing this one will be best - but there was no way to know about this in advance.

    I just saw that mySN.de give you a fair answer , then I believe you have nothing to worry.
    They are different shops though , all of em ,but when .de take cares you have nothing to worry.
    I am not even his costumer yet , but if it comforts you , among other resellers who ship in Greece , I will place my order till the end of the week from .de( I don't even know German , Chrome translation all the way :p)

    I hope to get your stuff as soon as possible , and if not , here we are again! Just spend 2 minutes of your time and give us feedbak with any updates of your case!

    its happened in the past with other resellers around the world who are waiting for non standard parts to ship out with whats available at the time so at least you get a working laptop and then when the non standard parts turn up either ship that out to you straight away or get the lappy back and returnt it to you the next day.

    Well, it was ok initially - they told me that non-backlit chassis out of stock atm, will be back in stock on "start of January", I said - ok, I'll wait, I didn't insist that I get anything straight away. And if any parts-related delays happen later - I could totally understand that, but they must be properly communicated (e.g. "we are waiting on stock of this part, expecting stock on <date>"). Majority of my frustration stemmed from poor communication.
    I will keep you updated, I am still (cautiously) optimistic that this will be resolved soon.

    one quick question though, why a non backlit keyboard. most of us have been screaming out for clevo to release one for years :)

    Well, its just matter of taste. I think that backlit keyboard is atrocious in terms of layout, feel and look ;)
    And since they've sent first one to me with backlit one, I even had opportunity to properly test it out - and just solidified my opinion. Keyboard on my P501 is tons better, so I wanted to keep it in P502.

    Backlight is nice option to have, but its not as vital for me - I don't work in the dark when I on the move, and for desktop I have a K800.

    Well, they definitely moved quickly this time, so I've received it yesterday. Proper keyboard put in, the exact sRGB screen I wanted - great, but!

    Sadly, it again didn't go perfect :(
    - to my surprise I've found a small 120W PSU in the box. Probably because they are using "lower-end" chassis for non-backlits and forgot to replace the PSU in original clevo-shipped box :/
    - the bottom right rubber feet is floating, and laptop is wobbling when pressed here during typing :( Basically same issue other people encountered before - http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/699257-unhappy-my-p150ems-quallity.html

    Trying to resolve it with support again, but getting completely disappointed here... :(

    sorry to hear that... I've read so many reports like this of unhappy customers. To be honest I was really close to buying a laptop from them but now it's off my list. Probably will save up some more and go AW or Asus way.

    Damnit - there seems to be a curse on your order. Apparantly the last unit has been rushed too much. We will investigate on how this could have happened and we will make sure that nothing like this could ever happen again.

    This does not address the floating foot yet, that's a seperate issue that only Clevo can address. As far as I'm aware of our UK support team is already working on a solution together with you.

    Everyone who is reading this may rest assured that cases like this one are one in a million. We are fine-tuning our efforts day by day to ensure the maximum quality and service our customers expect from us.

    I understand that this is entirely Clevo's quality issue, since they build the chassis, but it appears that it's not uncommon and happened to other people before, so probably you should check laptops for it before you send them out... It is pretty obvious, since there is about 2 mm gap when placed on flat surface:

    Note that it's not related to middle feet (which on HDD lid), in both cases above middle feet is floating, which is normal as I believe.

    dont get me wrong mysn, im loving my backlit keyboard. its just it took me a while on getting used to a half size return key which ive never had on any of my previous computers so i can understand where Ingvarr is coming from after trying both.

    have to agree with mysn on the point of moans on this and other forums though as a massive percentage of people that order after getting advise from forums like this never return after their purchase as they are happy customers. ive seen the percentages over the last 5 years on here alone and once people have bought they never return. they sure would if they had problems so for the numbers that mysn must sell in germany and the uk/eu im guessing were seing maybe 1 or 2% if that.

    Hello,

    I have a new xmg a522 laptop (Clevo W350ET) and I'd like to know how to make the vga button (top right of the keyboard) working ?

    It's always colored in orange, and nothing happens when i press it (I tried to double press it, press it long, everything).

    I've tried to download drivers but I don't think there are drivers for this thing. The button next to it (wlan) is working fine.

    I believe this vga button is there to switch between hd4000 gpu and (for my case) the gtx 660m.

    Nvidia optimus is working.

    Oh and I'm running windows 8.

    PS : I 'll finally have my good configuration next week (they are sending me the appropriate memory). Took some time to have everything "perfect" but they were very comprehensive and I'm sure they did their best !
    and the laptop is working perfectly fine, shipping was very fast too :)
