Nahimic 3 on "unsupported systems"

i have uploaded same song. i used stereo mix to record and volume was %100 so it can be loud.

from 00.00-00.42 i turned on surround and sound has problem
from 00.42-01.26 i turned off surround
from 01.26-02.16 i turned on surround again but this time sound was good.

as i said this problem occurs sometimes, not everytime i turn on surround.

also do you have any idea about volume goes up and down continuously? it also occur sometimes.

i also realized that "NahimicSvc32.exe" sometimes cause high cpu load. do you think there is any relation between surround sound issue and high cpu load issue?

 

I see what you mean, Right try completely removing Nahimic and the Realtek driver (Use latest DDU for this and do so in safe mode) then use something like rapr ( https://archive.codeplex.com/?p=driverstoreexplorer ) to make sure you remove all Nahimic and Realtek Audio drivers for the Windows 10 driver store.

Then reinstall the latest build and see how that goes. Also a tip if you can make a continues play with Surround sound On and Off within 30 seconds to insure that we are not breaking rules here or the DMCA. Else just send me a PM with a link.

My NahmicSvc32/64.exe is not showing high CPU usage so it might be something conflicting there.

If that fails to work try turning down the Hz and or Bits to see if that helps.

 

i re-installed the modded realtek driver and nahimic using ddu and rapr as you said but the problem still exist. however i found the cause of the problem. it occurs due to high cpu usage of "NahimicSvc32.exe".
when i play a media, cpu usage of NahimicSvc32.exe gradually increase until it reaches its max (%90-%95). but it does not affect the sound.
however, if i pause and resume the media that problem occurs due to high cpu usage of NahimicSvc32.exe. this is why the sound problem occurs randomly.
now i am trying to fix the cpu usage problem. if i cannot solve the issue, i am planning to format my pc.

- Uninstall Realtek UAD, including Nahimic UWP app then reboot.

- BIOS -> disable secure boot.

- Disable driver signature enforcement. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

- Temporarily disable AV software.

- Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator "Realtek_UAD...mod.exe".

- When prompted (3x) select "Install driver software anyway"

- Realtek installer, select "No, I will restart my computer later" to continue with RTK Audio Console & Nahimic installation

- Check Start Menu to ensure Realtek Audio Control UWP and Nahimic 3 has been installed.

- Finally, reboot.

If your Headphones are not picking up, disable Auto-Jack Detection in the Realtek Audio Control Panel UWP application and re-enable it. This is a known bug.

I try to install it on the GE73VR 7RF and nahimic 3 does not recognize the realtek chip. Same with the driver before. Different Hardware id?

 

Whats the device ID of the chip? Also Driver enforcement is off via the method outlined in my post?

Also are you running 1803+ Build of Windows 10 64bit?

 

I do all steps as you explain in your guide.
I have no access atm to the GE73.

 

No problem, once you do if you could give me the Device ID for it i will then check it against my list. I have done the same as normal and if it was working for the other times then technically i should work on the latest build.

when doing future Realtek Nahimic UAD driver mods, it is not necessary to edit/mod the HDXMSI.inf file.
the only INF files that are required to mod are just the "extension" INF files - AVoluteNH3Ext.inf & HDX_MsiExt_AVO_RTK.inf. The realtek uad driver setup program can just use the HDXRT.inf file if no specific hardware device id is found in HDXMSI.inf file, since it makes no difference between using either HDXMSI.inf or HDXRT.inf.

 

Will give that a test run and see how it goes if it still works after that will insure it in newer updates.

Jr. The chances are yes it will work however, if your unsure throw me your Audio Codec ID and i will let you know so long as you follow the instructions on the posts where the driver links are i.e ones made by me it should work without issue, however i am just about to test @epguy3 's suggestion with a new driver if it works i will be uploading that and posting the new one here.

Just use the new driver in post above yours I try and keep them upto date, however it's a driver a month run for me.

However good luck it should work well just make sure that old realtek drivers and Nahimic 2 is fully uninstalled before installing the modded drivers. Also driver signature enforcement off is the most important step.

O.k. i followed the steps and it got installed, even both the Realtek and Nahimic shows in the start menu. Now , do i go back enable secure boot upon restarting the laptop ?

Yep you can re-enable secure boot if you wish. As for your Desktop speaker which jack are you using or is it bluetooth?

 

I meant to say , the built in speakers on the GT80s.

My wireless headphone works great. But no effect on the built in speakers. Is there a way to re-optimized or I have to reinstall everything all over again?

I have the same problem! My internal GS63VR speakers do not receive any effect. In the earphone (P1) the effects are applied normally.
This also happened in the previous version of the driver. (8627)
Any tips?

 

Try deleting all items in the audio section of device manager see if that helps.

All audio devices removed and reinstalled, however did not work, continues with no effect on the internal speakers.

It worked before with the original drivers of other devices (8491). But at a certain point, NAHIMIC was updated and everything stopped working. At that moment, I resorted to its drivers and at least I had the effects returned to the headphone. But the internal speakers did not work. The first version I used was the 8627.
Will your older drivers work with the newer versions of NAHIMIC?

 

I see no reason why it shouldn't.

- Uninstall Realtek UAD, including Nahimic UWP app then reboot.

- BIOS -> disable secure boot.

- Disable driver signature enforcement. Hold down the Shift key while you click the “Restart” option -> Select “Troubleshoot” -> Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> select “Disable driver signature enforcement” option.

- Temporarily disable AV software.

- Copy to desktop then Right-click/Run as administrator "Realtek_UAD...mod.exe".

- When prompted (2x) select "Install driver software anyway"

- Realtek installer, select "No, I will restart my computer later" to continue with RTK Audio Console & Nahimic installation

- Check Start Menu to ensure Realtek Audio Control UWP and Nahimic 3 has been installed.

- Finally, reboot.

If your Headphones are not picking up, disable Auto-Jack Detection in the Realtek Audio Control Panel UWP application and re-enable it. This is a known bug.

Nahimic 3 wont show any effects tabs for speaker as well as headphones for me. I have auto driver updates disabled. Everything was fine until there were 3x "install driver anyway" prompts instead of 2x. I think the inf file you have been excluding lately is causing this. I have attached the image, as you can see, no tabs for different effects.

Thanks for letting me know, next update will have the file I stopped editing edited again. You can still use an old driver that was modded with all 3 files prior and still use the new Nahimic 3 UWP and RTK Console UWP. Thanks for testing, is anyone else having issues similar to this?

You seem to enjoy testing these drivers might as well take advantage of it.

Sorry I posted too quickly. I just tried the 8642 build with 3x prompts, and even with Driver updates disabled, its getting overwritten by 8117 driver(?). I ran the .reg again and tried again. So must be something on my end since. Do you think a previous nahimic 2 installation would be causing problems as i was using Nahimic 2+ before i tried 8652 then 8642? I have uninstalled nahimic 2+ before trying this.

 

@mnomaanw Check PM's, Also make sure you uninstall all Nahimic software, Realtek Audio drivers as well as Realtek Console UWP. I have gave you a beta link which was just made 10 seconds after your first reply on the new drivers.

Your best thing to do is uninstall the Nahimic 2+ software and Audio drivers reboot, then uninstall Nahimic 3 UWP and Realtek console UWP and reboot again, then follow the instructions in the Driver install thread, as i have kept both 8652 drivers separate your able to test both versions freely and post your results.

As for Windows Update updating the drivers make sure you use the .reg file before rebooting after installing the new drivers to block WSUS from auto driver updating.

Edit: just noticed what system you using which is a gt72s 6qe which uses the same ID"s as my gt72-6qd and don't have issue but still test away!

 

Same here hacktrix i installed the new driver because with the former driver i had even no differnce when i change in the last driver. i'm sure that this occurs with one of the last windows 10 updates. And i had only 2 instead of 3 warnings if i want to install this driver

Right it has been noticed that if your having issues with Nahimic 3 installing with my drivers the issue is with Skype running so in order to Kill skype please open a CMD windows as admin and run the following command:

cmd /C taskkill /IM SkypeApp.exe /T /F && taskill /IM SkypeBackgorundHost.exe /T /F && taskkill /IM SkypeBridge.exe

then reinstall via the executable again, but when driver goes to install hit cancel and let it continue to install RealTek Audio Console and Nahimic 3. This will be added directly to the installer from now on.

 

Driver is working on GS63VR 6RF.
Weekend i get the GE73 and try the installation again.

 

Thanks for confirming will be release the driver later tonight. It has the fixes for Skype issue included.

8666 drivers are out. there's even an 8666 UAD Gigabyte driver there that includes Nahimic 3 support. yup, Nahimic 3 is not just for MSI systems anymore as Realtek sometimes develops UAD drivers that integrate Nahimic 3 onto Gigabyte machines as well.

since Nahimic 3 has no EQ (equalizer), I use the equalizer and environment "sound effect" options from Realtek Audio Control (as seen in this pic below, I have the gigabyte oem version of realtek audio console)



I hope the MSI version of the Realtek Audio Console UWP app has those EQ and environment options available while running Nahimic 3

Yes i also know Nahimic is on a few OEM systems now (No longer exclusive to MSI) however i only own currently an MSI Device and thus will only mod for MSI systems.
I will send a link when it is up on Beta Folder. Its Manual install for each step so you install the driver then RTK then Nahimic UWP will explain more in the convo.

Confirmed working on GT83VR 7RF. Both wireless headphone and laptop speakers.

 

Which driver version? as there is a new one soon tm on the way.
