Sure you can post them up here too and we can try to make an educated guess of where to start testing. I believe 3dmark ( firestrike ) demo is free with the steam application still so FYI on that too.

Great ! Thank you for this answer :)

For the CPU, how can you OC it without multiplier ?
And how modify the TDP limit ?

Currently the only conventional way is to use Intel XTU and change the multipliers for each core, you can also dynamic CPU offset which has seemed to help lower some CPU temps as haswell always seems to have a core voltage too high when not using the integrated the GPU. As for the downside you can not alter TDP at the moment, I would say its possible if one had unlocked the machine bios but only one person has reported in doing this.

Hi I'm gonna order my 009 in a few days but I heard that MSI GT80 doesn't support the latest Nvidia Geforce driver. Anyone know if that's true? Do I have to download drivers directly from the MSI website?

By saying you have to physically go to the site and download driver, you mean you go to the Nvidia site or MSI site?

That's very interesting that they added a 3rd pipe on the CPU for extra cooling, can't wait to see your temps. Thank you for sharing!

The 001 and 009 the side you have open usually does run a warmer (up to 10c) on the GPU so its the best case in the setup to have the extra running to that side I would believe too.

I also cant wait to See The Temps with only one Gtx980m!

I think The only worse temp in The Msi Gt80 Sli is The CPU!

I was interesting in a Personal cooling Solution for this Laptop! Sometimes i Ask myself what is to do for better Cpu temp in The sli config?! A third Fan Up to The cpu? More heatpipes?

    Sorry for The bad english

your very welcome guys. it will be a bit later tonight before i can test the factory TIM with the benches. I can say this though, Under around 3-4 hours of BF4 i have never seen the temp exceed 64c . BUT thats with the cores unparked . With my Alienware the temps would jump around 7-10c just by unparking the CPU coresin BF4 . But this one seems to run ALOT cooler CPU and Gfx wise. But like i said, i will be posting later tonight after i get my 1 and 4 year old in bed.

Do you mean The 64c in BF4 on CPU or GPU? My highest core temp is about 92c and GPU about 82c and The other around 74 c

The following comes up to my mind in order to get lower temps:
    1. Undervolt CPU and GPUs
    2. Good repaste job with TIM of higher thermal conductivity (for both CPU and GPUs)
    3. Underclock of VRAM (that's the main trick used by "stealth" mode fans setting)
    4. Underclock GPUs and/or CPU
    5. Change the stock blowers for ones with higher air flow
    6. Change the stock heatpipes for ones with higher thermal conductivity
    7. You may also count on external help from cooling pads, air conditioners, etc. ;)

Highest CPU i have recorded but i only run on High settings (i stand corrected is 68c) Gpu no overclock and frames capped at 80fps is between 64-70c .

    *edit*
And as stated before- I normally play 2-4 hours constant and have no higher temps.

The Fan Button that clears out the heat - would you like to see what it does when i bench and run it with that on too?> As i havent had to press that button at all.

This is going to be a noob question, because I'am a noob to MSI gaming center. I do not have the device setting tab when I open up dragon gaming center. This seems to be the place where you would set sport mode or any other mode you wish to be in. Is there some sort of update I need for this software or am I missing something? I have the GT80 titan 001. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
