    So, as I'm a little impatient, and would love to get my hands on this machine, I decided to call Dell and inquire about what's taking so damn long. It doesn't help that they sent me the case already, so I have an empty case, and no laptop...

    I get on the phone and the guy tells me that I will have the laptop by the 27th. I said I see that, but was curious as to what the hold up is, why does it take three weeks. He said he would create a case, and escalate it, and see about getting it faster. I got all excited, he gave me a case number, I eagerly wrote it down, and then he said....

    "Someone will give you a call on Monday"

    What? So I got call to complain about a 27th delivery date, and your going to have someone give me a call to discuss on the 23rd? How the hell is that supposed to help.

    So I guess I'll just be waiting.

    Damnit.

    Same happened to me, i already have received my alieware mice and headset and they shipped m14x sleeve today but the laptop is still in production which baffles me to say the least.

    Ordered on 16/05 and estimated delivery date is 03/06.

    Mine is still in production. I ordered the 9th and the estimated delivery is the 26th. With 7 day shipping it should have gone out....today. But looks like the monkeys there are taking their sweet time.

    i ordered mine on 12-May and just got updated the estimate delivery is 06-Jun..

    while my col ordered a XPS 15 on 12-May and receive it by 18-May.. thats like 3 business day.. while mine is 3-4 weeks

    could it be they trying to fix the battery or fan issue for the new batch?

    Dont think so, thats just how long the Alienwares are taking at teh moment because of the high demand.

    When I ordered on the 11th the EDD was 7th June and it was shipped today so you should hopefully have it soon.

    Mine was shipped today aswell (live in UK) so hoping to get it Monday or Tuesday.
    If i get it on Monday will be exacly 7 days since i ordered which IMO is very good indeed.

    I ordered mine on the 11th and it still shows an EDD of 31st May. I'm kind of patient though, as I've got my M11X r1 hooked up as my main system until then and it's still an awesome system after a year's service. :cool:

    Ordered my m14x on 5/13 its said in production ever since. I check online today still says in production but i called today aswell and it says it has been shipped on may 25, 2011(today is the 21st).

    Well, it's now 5 days before my EDD and the box is still in production. So all of this talk of "The EDD is always wrong", may not always be wrong.

    I'm still reserving a tiny bit of hope that it will get shipped out and be here earlier this week, but it's getting harder to believe every day. :-(

    I think I know why mine is still in production-I ordered mine through AAFES, which acts like a 'middleman' and they try to keep to the EDD as much as possible, which means I'll be getting mine on or around May 31st (Ordered on May 11th)

    There could be further delays on deliveries as all airports in the UK are on dust watch at the moment because Manchester City have opened their trophy cabinet for the 1st time in over 37 years.

    hmm mine is showing Uplift right now.. if it have the same path like my col's xps.. i should be receiving sms tomorrow and expecting the package by wednesday.. that is Uplift -> Cleared Custom-> Arrived in Main Hub -> Dispatch to Local Courier;
