Like the title says. If you own an Intel X-25M SSD, please post your benchmark score(s).
I am having an issue with my 4K read/write. It seems as tho they are 50% less than what they should be. Nevertheless, post your benchmarks. I want to know if any other DELL owners experiencing the same problem as i do..

I would have posted this in the Hardware SSD Thread, but that thread is just out of control. I am mostly interested in the Random 4K reads/writes and this is probably the most important attribute in everyday computing for regular users like us.

on a side note, can someone tell me why my 4K reads/writes are so much slower than what they are supposed to be??

Eh... I've got a G1 (which shouldn't be much slower) and I'm getting more or less the same speeds... I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I've got the Samsung 256GB PB-22J SSD which has performance similar to the Intel X25M. It replaced a 500GB Hitachi and boosted the PCMark05 score from ~4500 to ~6000. In terms of everyday usage, a good SSD is a better investment than a top end CPU.

It's only the best upgrade you do right now, if not ever. Making the switch the first time was so enlightening, I don't have a machine with a conventional HDD anymore :)

Going from a good SSD to a better SSD isn't that amazing, though. I original had a 64GB Samsung SLC (RBX), and the X25-M doesn't feel that much faster.

    Ilkhan,
what are your system specs? briefly...

    And to everyone else,
X-25m G2 are supposed to be faster on benchmarks especially with writing speeds throughout.

On the contrary, performance should be about the same when new or close to new (which mine is, and I'm assuming yours is). Only in a used state will the G2 actually be significantly faster than the G1, and then only in random 4KB writes. Hell, the Anandtech tests show the G1 being faster than the G2 in those small random writes when new.
