Would you recomend me this vostro?

The price is mind blowing amazing, i been configuring inspiron or at least the xps that has the 8400, but is just to expensive.

Am i missing something? is there a catch, or is it all because inspiron and xps are "better looking" than the vostro 2510

by the way, i have never seen a vostro 2510 around here.

Vostros are good solid business notebooks. More solid (and heavier) than the Inspirons but not as durable as the Latitudes.

If value, not appearance or minimum weight, is your priority then it is a good choice.

Not a bad deal at all.

I've got the 1510, which is the EXACT same notebook, but in all black instead of Red.

I've got no issues with it. (Running 64b vista).

Mind you, the fan will come on every minute or so and blow air out for a bout 5s to bring temps down. If you're in a noisy environment or listening to music or watching a movie, you won't hear the fan. If you're in a completely quiet environment, the sound can get a little annoying.

But don't let that deter you from buying the notebook as it is a really good deal.

What's the resolution of the screen? Is WXGA+ 1400x900?

WXGA+ is 1440x900 and would be a great resolution on a 15.4" screen.

    Thanks :)

Just letting you know you can save an additional $48 by removing the red Logitech mouse that's bundled with the laptop. ;)
