Windows XP x64 with 16GB RAM and NO Hybernation available ???

    Do you know how to enable hybernation in Windows XP x64 with 16GB RAM ?, I do not have that option in Power Manager in Control Panel, thanks

    Is it a possibility that you deleted the data for it when you ran disk cleanup? I know it gives you the option to.

    The Hibernation Tab does not exist in my Windows XP x64

    It is possible that XP doesn't support it with more than 2GB of RAM.

    MS say that this applies to 64bit vista too - but I have hibernate on my vista 64 with 16Gb RAM.

    Unfortunately, hibernation is not available with more than 4GB ram.

    Interesting article, it says all the versions of Windows (XP, Vista, Server) will have Hibernation disabled if you have more than 4GB RAM, but I've used hibernation on Vista with 8GB, I do not know about Windows 7 ???
