what kind of gaming performance should I expect from m4400?

    I♥RAM even got it to 8000 but i don't think anyone else managed to get it to that. You really have to consider that 3Dmark06 is not a real representation of actual game performance, not just in fps but also in how hot it'll push your GPU....while it might stay fine while benchmarking it might heat up pretty bad during gaming. What is still do is run Fraps and HWmonitor while gaming to keep an eye on what's going on.

    Ah, well part of the score discrepancy is right there - I was running 3DMark06 at 1280x1024. I agree with you that it's not a real benchmark of anything useful but it does provide a yardstick to compare computers.

    I run dual-monitor setup,so I always have HWmonitor and rivatuner on secondary screen :D

    if it performs even 20% better then my HDX,then I am happy :D

    How do you guys think it get on against the new Studio XPS 1640, with the ATi 3670 card?
    My gut tells me the Precision stays on top....?
