Hi, I decide to get the V3350. Will probably order by end of this month (or should I wait? If you guys have any info if dell is refreshing V3350, do let me know)
    Here's my spec:
    CPU: i5 or i7 (haven't decide)
    OS: Win7 64bit
    Display: HD WLED Anti Glare
    RAM: 4GB
HDD: 500GB (want to replace SSD, pls recommend a good ssd, 128GB to 256GB, will use for OS, and use the existing 500GB for secondary, anyone bought a bay for secondary HDD yet?)
    DVD: DVD RW
Webcam: 1.0 MP HD Webcam and Digital Array Mic
    Graphic: AMD Radeon
Keyboard with Touchpad with Backlit & FingerPrint reader
    Battery: 4 cell
    P.Adaptor: 65W
    Back Cover : Aberdeen Silver
    Wireless: Intel Wireless N 1030. Bluetooth 3.0
    Warranty: 3yrs NBD & 3yrs Accidental Service
CDs: Resource DVD for Vostro 3350

Anything I'm missing? Btw is the HDMI, Matt screen & multi gesture pad come default? And I've read about the graphic card that can change performance from low to high, what is that all about, advantage? Is that the AMD card?
    Thx guys.

I know the HDMI and matte screen come default, dunno about the touchpad because i always have it disabled.

As for an SSD, i'd say whatever is in your price range. Crucial M4 SSDs tend to be well priced and have good performance/reliability. If the SSD is just for the OS you probably won't notice any difference between Sata 2 and Sata 3 SSDs aside from booting in 12 seconds instead of 15.

Hello, I'm a fairly new owner of a 3350. At the moment I'm wondering how to find out which AMD Radeon card I actually have inside my laptop? I've read about Windows recognizing both 6470M and 6490M as 6490M. I downloaded GPU-Z and it showed the card as 6490M.

I'm also having a problem with a game. I tried to launch a Source game (TF2) with my desktop extended to a 1900x1200 external monitor. During the intro video both screen start to flicker and the main screen won't show up. When I force the game to use the Intel HD card, everything works ok. Has anyone else had the same problem or know how to fix it?

I'll try to launch the game w/o the external monitor or update my Radeon drivers later today, although they might already be the latest ones.

Has it btw been confirmed that the 3350 supports Sata III SSDs?

Hi, thx for all the replies. Anybody have a HDD caddy for this laptop yet? Do Dell sell it? I really want it before ordering my laptop.
Dose this laptop comes with Sim card slot, btw? I would like to purchase internal broadband too, but would it work if I go oversea?

Not yet ! But I plan to buy a 128 GB SSD HDD and install it using a caddy. So, I will install Windows to SSD and use standard HDD as a storage.

I used the 20% off coupon and got one today.

i5, ATI graphics, 320GB, and lighted keyboard for $519. It was between getting the ATI and 320GB hard drive or integrated graphics and 500GB hard drive for $10 more. What would you have chosen? I have about 60GB of music and plan to dual boot XP for some games.

Still not sure how to work this out definitely.

Solved just by updating the drivers to the latest version (11.8).

mkj answered this in another thread, if anyone is interested.
