vostro 1400 over heating

    Anything over 85+ is cause for alarm. I occasionally hit 85 playing games, although thats in a warm room.

    Remember ambient temperature in the room you work in can play a big factor in the temperatures!

    i kinda have the same problem with my gpu of vostro 1400

    at idle i get around 65'C
    when playing battlefield2 i clock at around 85-92'C

    is that normal? but when i close the game it goes down quite quick to around 75'C.

    these temps are according to nvidia monitorview. i dunno how accurate this is thoug... help! wanna know if its normal...

    i downloaded what dell asks of the bios update for vostro it kinda lowered my temp as well... now when i play games its around 70-80 doesnt clock up to 90plus... i guess that heat is now much normal than b4 ryt?
