From the evidence I’ve seen on area 51m DGFF cards it’s seems that these mosfets have a low thermal runaway point (the point where they become very inefficient due to high temps, more power causes higher temperature, basically it kills itself by burning up and shorting out). This, ‘I believe’ is sorted out with the ncp303151 mosfets, a newer revision. I may be wrong @TheQuentincc or @Khenglish may know the real reason.

I don't really know about these mofset, but it could be a good idea to use high performance thermal pads instead of the stock one :)

Really, you basically have to turn to eBay.

(Volume is low, the selection available changes from week to week.)

    Thank you, but 1000$ impossible
Its cost less to change the laptop for a new one already equiped

In the first post, i can read "163.50" in 2019 : how ?

"Mine was 'MWDWM', and I paid the low, low price of $163.50 for it. This was direct from Dell, so I think I got an immense bargain."

This was a "mistake" on the part of Dell Singapore. They have since corrected their prices. You cannot normally get a card for such a price.

    Ok, it's not a suprise.
163.5 too low and 1000$ too high :)
But today, sales from dell say to me : part unavailble for sell ... (no price)

In most territories, this is normal... Dell won't sell GPU cards standalone.

Now that the RTX4000 and RTX5000 cards for the 75x0 are here, was wondering if Ionising_Radiation could kindly post pictures of the cards and a pictorial guide for the update here.
