    I understand the risk factor but I chose to upgrade anyway. :)
    (I have a backup I can revert to if something huge comes up.)
    Actually haven't had many issues. Unless I get a BSOD again on the Intel 11.0 drivers, I'm considering it stable. I've written more in the M6700 owner's thread.

    Just out of curiosity, do you have Optimus enabled on the M6600? I found that it does cause issues similar to what you describe in Win8. When I was trying the release preview, I had Optimus on, it BSOD'ed shortly after I installed the NVIDIA drivers and it would BSOD on boot until I turned Optimus off. I'm leaving it disabled until both Intel and NVIDIA release proper Win8 drivers.

    No, I don't have Optimus enabled, but thanks for the tip.

    All has been stable on the 6600 all day today, maybe it was just a bad start to her morning :)
