    I noticed this too.

I can't get the 11.2 installer to launch. (I double-click on it, get the UAC prompt, and then nothing happens — the process terminates right away.) I'm on Windows 8 now so that might have something to do with it .... But I didn't have any trouble with the 11.0 installer on Windows 8.

    Update:

I just got a BSOD that blamed iaStor.sys (the Intel RAID controller driver). So, I reverted to version 11.0 provided by Dell.

It happened right when I clicked on the "Performance" tab of the Task Manager, which in Windows 8 includes some disk performance graphs. So, that might have had something to do with it?

Anyway, my setup is not even 2 days old — just installed Windows 8 on Wednesday and enabled Intel SRT yesterday — so I can't necessarily blame 11.2 unless it runs stable for a while on 11.0.

If it was me I would strongly suspect Win 8. As an aside, I upgraded my Precision 6600 to Win 8 Pro, started an applicaiton I run, and about 20 minutes later got a BSOD. It would not boot. I powered off and on, put the Win 8 DVD in to attempt a repair, and it did come up fine after I went into the BIOS and looked around. It has been running now for 2 hours with no problems. But I will not upgraded my 6700 to Win 8, too risky at this point IMHO.

I too have been running 11.2 of RST on the 6700 with Win 7 with no problems.
