can you post some pictures of the screen? Everybody is talking about the rgb-led truelife but there are no pictures on the forum.

the LCD cable seems to be part of the LCD back panel assembly, if its a faulty cable, instead of merely loose, you'll have to replace the entire lcd back assembly.

its gonna take a bit of work. i reckon you should return it and get a new one

Thanks for reminding me forum rules ;)

    BUT!

    ;)

I guess it is just loose, since it happened/disappeared after a "hit".

i dont think anyone has actually seen the LG screen. it seems to be MIA lol...

we were talking about it in the other thread. im really curious if it is better, i'd bug them to change my screen then, because the backlighting is pretty uneven in the corners

having said that, even with the uneven lighting, the screen is so darn bright it still looks brilliant

Yes, this is indeed most likely the display connector. From what I can see, the pull tab on the connector can get stuck to the base plate, and if that wiggles a bit, the connector can slip out. Gave me a nasty shock the first time, had this issue again once. Re-seating the cable fixes it.
