Has anyone removed the stickers from the right palmrest of their E6400 (or similar)? The Windows Vista Basic sticker is really annoying to me, but it seems to be very securely attached and I don't want to ruin anything in the process of removing it....anyone?

I removed mine as well. Simply pulling them off and removing the residue by pulling it off using the sticky side of the stickers does the trick.

I'm tempted to remove mine too, the Vista basic sticker isn't exactly the best looking sticker out there.

then i little bit of baby oil to remove the sticky residue
then covered my palm rest with transparent vinyl sticker to protect it from my sweaty palms

My mom took hers off of her E6400, and I took mine off of my Studio 1555, by just peeling the stickers off and rubbing off the glue residue with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips.

Are the stickers the easy to remove kind, or the kind that rips easily leaving a mess?

I took off both the Vista and Intel Core 2 stickers, and they both came off easily. One of them looked like it was going to leave behind that pain-in-the-@ss paper residue, but thankfully it didn't. Just be sure to pull slowly.

Removed my vista basic sticker, only a tiny bit of residue easily removed by my finger. Now just the Centrino2 sticker is there.
