So place that one in the scales of the GPU Guide to see where it stands.

IDK, if it were me I'd get an Intel GPU. nVidia still isn't talking much about their GPU defects, and I don't trust them now.

The four scores on the right are benchmark scores...basically it is an estimate of how a card will perform with real life games.

In any application that uses 3D graphics (games, 3D rendering, CAD, that kind of stuff), the stronger the GPU the better. In all other 2D applications, it does not matter what GPU you have...all the modern ones are plenty fast for 2D demands.

Interestingly enough, both the Intel card and the nVidia card are ranked higher than some of the mid-range cards from last generation...which means performance should be kind of good possibly for even light gaming.

Bottom line is that the benchmark scores are very close, which means that the Intel card performs just about as well as the low-end nVidia 160M.

so it would not be worth it to add $70 for the nvidia 160m.. i read somewhere about there is a problem with the 32-bit vista or somethin that doesnt use 4 gb ram completely like the 64-bit.. and there is a vista business that is 64-bit and another that isnt.. wats the difference for the same os with different bit.. and is ultimate worth the money compared to the business?
