    @boss428man:

    using mr_bankai's settings, my card apparently crashed. however, I could shut down the machine normally using the power-on button.
    when restarting and looking into any log-files in the bios - no event showed up. I guess that's good?
    I didn't run any intense diagnostics tho. I can't see any impact after performance or anything now. so I guess the card just locked up, said "FU!" and everything's alright so far... was lucky

    bottom line: reconsider how mean you are to your 1000M!
    Don't expect to push the 1000M by OCing to approach the 2000M in performance for cheap......

    thats good to hear. I think 2000m in general could push for higher percentages than the 1000m. another "reason" to upgrade?

    I have yet to find software available to push over 1170mhz for memory.

    Hey everyone, just wanted to update you guys. My card is still going strong. I don't OC it all the time, but I do push it often. Please keep in mind that not all cards will have the same overclock abilities. You should only use my numbers as a guide not as an expected result that you can mimic too. Please also be mindful of your temps. Mine are lucky enough that they have never crept above 65C even with the CPU under full load as well. This is likely thanks to independent heatsinks for both.
