I have one more question. I added a small 60GB mSata SSD in the mSata slot (has Windows 10). I want to put a third drive in the optical bay (with some flavor of Linux) and was wondering if the three drives can co-exist.
    Thanks

Guys, how many displays can the m4600 with fire pro 5950 support simultaneously? Are there any amd graphic cards that can be put as an upgrade?

AMD cards can drive up to five displays at once. There's a trick to it though. Up to two displays can be non-DisplayPort (including the built-in display), and up to three displays can be DisplayPort, and you must max both of these (using the dock) to get up to 5.

See this post for upgrade options.

    Hi,

    I have a dell m4600 (2820QM) with Nvidia K1000m. I'd like to connect a 4k monitor to my system. (I'm eyeing this modell: http://www.philips.com.au/c-p/BDM4065UC_75/brilliance-led-backlit-lcd-display)

According to my research, It looks like both the Intel and the nvidia 1000m maxes out at 2560 x 1600.

I started to look into Displaylink adapters, and there are a few products which supports 4k, for example: http://plugable.com/products/uga-4kdp

There is only one problem with this product: it supports 4k at 30hz. I don't use my system for gaming so it shouldn't be a problem, and the lag in this youtube video is not that bad.

Anyone have an suggestion, how can I connect a 4k monitor to my m4600 at 60mhz?

Interesting, the 2x4gb + 2x16gb configuration isn't mentioned in this m4600 memory upgrade article: http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN104599/EN

    Glad that is works :)
