I noticed this on my order from the Outlet today:

    Intel 6300 Wireless-N (2x2) Half Mini-Card

    Shouldn't the 6300 be 3x3?

Yes, the 6300 is a 3x3 card. This is an error.

^^^^ Thanks havoctex, just wasn't sure if there was something funky going on with the antennas. But you seem like you might be a guy in the know. ;)

Rewstah: Have you received the mini card yet? I just placed my order and I'm hoping we don't get ripped off.

There is a full PC Card slot. Adapters to CF are cheap enough.

They must have forgotten to remove the plug. Read the M4500 Service manual at Dell Support to learn how to remove the plug

I agree, the "Eject" button makes a cheap plastic sound as does the M4500 when it pops out

Nearly all Samsung SSD's are called PM800. If you want to find a Dell P/N and SKU for a particular M4500 part, go to Dell sales site, build the unit with the parts you are looking for, add it to the "shopping cart", then print out the Detailed list of options. This list will include all the Del P/N and SKU numbers.
