    Hi,
I'm planning to buy m4500. It seems to have 130W adapter. I wonder the size and weight of this adapter. Can anyone post an image or size information please?

    Thanks.

So which screen is going to be better?

    15.6" HD+ UltraSharp LED Display (1600x900) Resolution
    15.6" HD+ sRGB LED Back-Lit Display (1600x900) Resolution

One is UltraSharp, the other is sRGB. I don't really care about color accuracy that much, I just want the best looking screen possible.

Just ordered my m4500 with the i7-820 yesterday.
Has anyone received theirs yet? Also been looking for a website that has done a review on the machine - can't find anything. Anyone got a link?

Can't wait for it to arrive.

    a month ?

Have a feeling that mine will be delayed.

Most people who ordered have an estimate delivery date close to a month. Could mean something :(

Well, finally my Dell M65 died on me in the middle of an important project - after years of intense Maya/Zbrush/Cinema4D work & traveling around the world.

In all those years it served me well, but the high polygon modeling killed it now.

    So I just ordered a M4500 today :

    1 Precision M4500 : Standard base

Processor Clarksfield : One Intel Core i7-820QM(1.73GHz,8MB,Quad Core,45W)

Display : 15.6in Full High Definition (1920X1080) AntiGlare WLED LCD Panel

    Memory : 8GB(2x4GB)1333MHz DDR3 Dual Channel

Hard Drive : 320GB Serial ATA (7,200 Rpm)

    Battery : Primary 9-cell 90W/HR LI-ION

Graphics : 1 GB NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M (with 1GB dedicated memory) 45W

    Wireless : EMEA Dell Wireless 1520 (802.11 a/b/g/n 2X2) Mini Card

Keyboard : Internal US/International Qwerty Backlit Keyboard

Operating System : Genuine Windows 7 Professional (64Bit OS)

I told the sales rep about the urgency, so he put the order on priority, since I don't really wanna wait 3 weeks.

It cost me a lot, but finally I won't be restricted anymore in Zbrush to "low polygon numbers"

    * Edit : about the GDDR5 in the HP versus GDDR3 Dell Q FX1800M.....afaik, the HP only has the 8-cell battery, which will last less long than Dell's 9-cell battery ; which is imo, an important factor moreso than the video memory.
