Opted to buy an 80GB X25-M before I upgrade to RTM

Did find out we qualify for "educators" discount on volume licensing with Windows 7 because we home school :wideeyed: $69 a copy for Pro

If anyone has good info (doing the google thing now) on what changes to make in the OS for the SSD I would love to hear from people with the same laptop as mine.

Curious what website you buy the windows 7 with the educator discount from being a homeschooler? (We're doing the same)

Fill in the Country/ State/ City in this Microsoft link http://www.microsoft.com/education/license/howtobuy/resellers.aspx and it will give you a list of "Certified Education Resellers", call one of them and they can walk you through the rest of the process.

I haven't purchased yet, put that off and ordered the SSD first. I did however download, burn, and install W7 Pro on my M4400 knowing that I'll have the key before my 120 days are up...

(you have to do the volume licensing for 5 or more computers to get the price I mentioned)

    Hi guys

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but nVidia has posted v195 beta on their website. There's a few new features plus over 200 bug fixes, so it's well worth it.

    Kind regards

    Hi LPTP-LVR

Yes, I installed it and all seems well. I just clean installed Windows 7, so I don't have any games to test, but overall everything's fine. The control panel has been tweaked, and it mistakenly duplicates the Control Panel nView icon, but otherwise it's all good.

    Kind regards

    Hi everyone,

Before I make my final purchase, I want to get input on the keyboard with backlight and the one without it. Is the one with the backlight more squishy that I read from more users or is this just their unit?

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your inputs!
