The GPU column is a new Task Manager feature of Windows 10 1709.

Can someone tell me the model / part number for the 4k IGZO screen? I would like to try to get one to work in my m6800 covet....

Also... can someone tell me the brightness / nit? I saw someone dropped a 4k AU screen in a 6800 and it was really dark.... : (

What're the odds that, for whatever reason, the brightness adjustment wasn't working on that panel (and it was stuck at minimum)?

I'm not sure what the differences are but I commented in the other 7710 thread that I received a replacement heatsink from Dell for my 7710 with Nvidia but it was not contacting the GPU or CPU properly when trying to install it. It was really weird and I'm now wondering if they sent me the AMD heatsink instead of the Nvidia heatsink. I'm getting yet another new heatsink this week, fingers crossed this one fits.

Upon closer inspection, the NVidia heatsink has more copper surface area than the AMD one and uses more thermal pads. I decided to play it safe an just order the separate heatsink for my AMD --> NVidia upgrade.

I have my new 980M sitting right in front of me but can't use it since the heatsink isn't here yet. :/

One of the 7710 in our office has an odd issue.
It does not power on via battery (only when connected to AC). Soon as the AC disconnects - it switches off. Oddly - it shows the battery in BIOS, and shows it charging/in good health. It's very odd. Have tried another battery. Same issue.
Do you guys think it might be the motherboard? Or maybe a loose cable inside? Or blown fuse somewhere? Or BIOS battery? (have tried to soft reset, and defaulting BIOS, and updating BIOS).

    Hello Sir,
I hope i can find a solution for my problem with Precision 7710 I7 6920HQ
I'm facing thermal throttle on the laptop under render and heavy cpu usage especially core 2 and 4 while core 1 and 3 less in temperature for about 10 to 15 some times 20 degree C , i sent the laptop several times to service center and they have replaced the Motherboard and Heatsink twice and the problem still occurred, i applied grizzly kraynout thermal paste and it reduced the temp but under load it didn't solved, i undervoltage the cpu by 0.120 V and the laptop is steady now, my question if what I'm facing is normal or there is something wrong? Or this is normal due to high performance cpu? Please advice I'm very confused .

    Thanks
