Should be, but possibly only while the system is off or sleeping. 100W max.

    Some options.
    * Check the NVIDIA control panel, or Windows 10 Settings → System → Display → (scroll down) Graphics settings, and make sure that your app is set to run on the discrete GPU, which might not be the case by default.
    * Check the option in the BIOS mentioned by @Ionising_Radiation above.
    * You can also disable graphics switching in the BIOS; this effectively disables the Intel GPU, and will definitely attach all displays to the RTX 5000.

So question on this—since you have to bypass will it slow it down as compared to just using the HDMI or DP? I get nice speed and I’m very happy with my RTX 4000 for what I use it for, but I would think if the controller is attached to the intel integrated chip it might slow it down a little. Has anyone actually done this before, and if so, did you prefer running off TB3 or HDMI/DP?

I've done tests with many apps with running off of the dGPU directly, or rendering on the dGPU with output through the iGPU.

For the vast majority of apps, there is no discernable difference in performance. Benchmark type apps like 3DMark report a negligible performance difference (in the neighborhood of 1-2% ... on some tests it is actually slightly faster running through the iGPU, go figure).

For a handful of apps/games, running through the iGPU either causes a massive performance hit or outright broken behavior.

Basically, you've got to check your specific workload and see if it is a workable solution or not... but it will probably be fine. Some systems like the XPS / Precision 5000-series run in a forced graphics switching enabled mode all of the time so app developers are becoming increasingly used to making their apps work right with this configuration.

    Hi all!

I recieved my Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB 2933Mhz kit today (second one will be delivered on Friday).
It wouldn't work in Secondary slots (with 1x8B in primary), but when I removed 1x8GB and put 2x32GB into pirmary slots it wors like a charm!!

Hopefully second kit will also work :)

    Regarding last two pages:

My Baseus 65W USB-PD charger wont charge my 7750.

There is also Samsung PM991 in b-key 2242 NVMe. It costs around 120EUR for 512GB.
I have no idea if it'll work with 7750.

WWAN slot is M-key. A B-key card will not fit.
You could install a B-key 2242 drive in a 2280 slot with an extension adapter (but 2280 cards are plentiful and cheaper than that so...).

My bad, I've meant M key of course, as PM991 is NVMe drive.
And I agree it makes no sense unless you really need 5th NVMe drive in your laptop ;)

Blah, I got mine mixed up too. Most NVMe drives, including the PM991, are M-key but WWAN cards are B-key. The WWAN slot in the Precision is B-key; PM991 will not fit.
(I've seen some drives that are B+M key and those have a chance of fitting but I am thinking they still probably won't work.)
    Something like this.

I bought my 7550 as a re-certified unit through a third party vendor here in Canada (Dell Outlet isn't really a 'thing' here). The vendor was in Quebec, so it came with a French keyboard. Any suggestions out there as to the best place to purchase a replacement English layout keyboard? I assume replacing the keyboard wouldn't be too difficult a DIY task?
