Tiger Lake Precisions are unlikely to arrive before May or June 2021. "Worth it" depends on how much you really need a new system.

Not really in rush condition to buy new system since waiting the UHD HDR600 screen option will also need to wait until November (rumored in previous post). Additional several months will worth to wait.

Probably another Quadro with Ampere architecure?

Almost definitely the 2021 systems will have Ampere Quadros as an option.

I think worth to wait for it since the GeForce Ampere is nearby.
But how about Quadros? Will it release right after the GeForces?

Mobile Quadro will not release until the next workstation refresh — again, May or June 2021 (best guess).

The Crucial CT2K32G4SFD832A 64GB Kit (32GB x2) DDR4-3200 SODIMM DDR4 PC4-25600 • CL=22 is now running fine on my 7550. Until now all tests has been fine. The HyperX was not available to order. Then I decided for the crucial one. The memory seems to run at 2933 (maximal 3200) according the diagnostics tests. I installed in Bank A and C in order to have easier the installation of an additional kit of memory.

Hi All, a viewer of my Youtube channel has point me in direction of this thread and sorry took a bit of time to get on. I currently have both the 7550 and 7750 on my hand for review from Dell. The ones I have are both configured with i7-10750H, 32GB, 512GB Class 40, Quadro T1000, FHD non-touch version. I can tell you I like the thermals out of these two computers.

Happy to try answer some question to best of my knowledge.

Facing excess heating issue with the new 7550 configured with i7-10750H and NVIDIA Quadro T2000. This is when the system is just booted in Windows 10 and the CPU usage is less than 10%. Prior system 7520 was way cooler. Any suggestions?

I have one remaining question: does RTX4000 is worth paying extra (around 300EUR) over RTX3000? Is there a signifcant performance increase considering 80W power budget of 7550?

I will be using it for 3D scanning (so lots of heavy computation), and maybe a bit of games here and there (hooked to external monitor - NEC EA275WMI - QHD)
    rest of the setup is:
    i9-10885
    64GB RAM 2933
    1TB 970Evo plus
    Highest version of FHD Display

Will be grateful for your feedback!

Does anyone know the minimum power rating of a third party USB-C power supply that would work with at 7550 + RTX3000? The standard Dell power brick that comes with the machine is 180W
