Using Core Temp, i measured 98 degrees at most (short peaks) when rendering image previews in Adobe Lightroom. Is this normal? Does Core Temp measure accurately? The core temps were jumping around a little (+- 10 degrees C). Of course, the laptop sounded like a plane taking off...

because Dell could supply a slightly younger display with better luminosity and less dim... My old display from m4600 (LG Philips LP156WF1, Dell P/N: MC6JN) is superior in case of brightness...

I wasn't specifically talking about your comment about American automobiles, I figured the way things were headed we just needed a general fyi. But since you've brought it up, I've had more issues with my toyotas than I have with my 2 GM vehicles ;)

My point with the different VIDs is that Ionising_Radiation may have a great chip (undervolted or not) and has totally adequate cooling either way, while you may have gotten a chip that doesn't run as cool even stock. I created a post about cooling and modifying the 9570 and was somewhat dumbfounded that other users couldn't get near as good of results as me. Turns out I had just gotten lucky the first time around and not so much the second. I do agree that if talking about how well something performs then all mods should be disclosed, although reading his mention of "decent cooling" doesn't lead me to believe he was misleading anyone.

Wow ok, that was the only other panel model that matched the specs of the 7530, but I thought since they started mass production 3 years ago that it wouldn't be the JW02 and must be the JW33.

Here's the LQ156D1JW02 vs LQ156D1JW33 side-by-side comparison on Panelook.com. While both models are pretty much identical, the older model actually has better response time and lower power consumption, although it weighs a bit more.

I wonder if a panel is sitting in a warehouse for 3 years whether it affects anything over time though?
