    Basically, less heat and power usage translates to less fan noise under low load and modestly higher boost clock speeds.

    Thanks. Can you quantify the modest amount? On my 7730 could I performance improvements of 5%, 10%, something else? For my heavy photo and video processing usage, speed is the goal, but not if it sacrifices stability.

    Yes, something in that range. It depends on the amount that you undervolt by. Each individual CPU has a different tolerance, you’d have to do some testing to determine what the best safe level is.

    Anyone here had a chance to test dpc latency with latencymon on the new bios? I use my machine for audio work and on my current bios i’ve got it running pretty stable at around 400us of interrupts. Just want to make sure the new bios doesn’t have any issues with that since dell kinda has a reputation for having audio latency issues.

    Thanks. I think I'll keep running as is for now since most things are stable (except for that damned TB18DC) until I move on to another machine.

    Hi,

    I have two 7730 with same configuration however, one of them 4k, other one is FHD. Can I change FHD to 4K ?

    From this monitor;
    391-BDRT : 17.3" UltraSharp FHD IPS 1920x 1080 AG, w/Prem Panel Guar 72% color gamut LCD
    257DG Liquid Crystal Display,17.3FHD,AG,Au Optronics Corp

    To this monitor;
    391-BDRR : 17.3" UltraSharp UHD IGZO 3840 x2160 AG,Cam/Mic, w/Prem Panel Guar 100% color gamut LCD
    CK7T7 LCD,17.3UHD,EDP1.3,AG,SHARP 1

    The problem is FHD has 30pin, 4k has 40pin.

    Yes, you will have to swap out the panel and the display cable.

    Hi there.Is it possible to have problems with the dedicated graphic card after a Bios Upgrade with a 7730?.
    My system does not see the P5200 under Windows 10.(Only as microsoft monitor).I am able to install all nvidia drivers with no problems,then in devoce manger I see the card as a P5200.
    I did run a system test and everything works.Also in the Bios I see the card without a problem.

    I am still fighting to find out the problem.
    I got GPU-Z but I am unable to extract info regarding the VBios.
    Is this normal?
    Is a possibility to have the card not well connected to the weird DGFF adapter?
