I'm getting error Code43, I heard that if I reflash my vBios I could remove that stop code.

Does any of you guys cand send me the stock dell 7730 - Quadro p5200 vBios? Or... do you guys know of some other fix for this error?

    Thanks!

...Have you flashed a vBIOS other than the stock one on this card? Flashing the same vBIOS that it already has on there is not likely to fix anything. If there is a problem with your card that persists across a Windows re-install then you should contact Dell support to have it swapped out.

The Precision 7X30/40 notebooks have been designed well, but they are definitely a pain to open up. I do wish they had inverted the heatsink assembly so it was more straightforward to get to the real innards of the notebook.

I have several parts incoming, and this will be a pretty massive upgrade:

    Quadro RTX 5000
    Quadro RTX 5000 heatsink
    144Hz 10-bit display (AUO B156HAN10.0)
    40-pin 0.5mm-pitch cable

It's going to be a pretty long operation; let's see when Dell delivers my RTX 5000.

Have you ever compared P5200 vs RTX5000?

I have had some weird issues that "appear" like keyboard or mouse issues, or almost like hangs, like it takes seconds for keystrokes or mouse clicks to register. In my case, they are caused by AMD graphics drivers misbehaving and are immediately remedied by restarting the graphics driver (Win+ctrl+shift+B). Not sure if this will help with your issue but in case anyone else has similar experiences it might help someone.

I am considering a 7540 with a Xeon 6core and Quadro P2000, secondhand for around 11000$. If I get it I am upgrading the LCD pael to 144hz and switching keyboard.

Is this a good deal and do you reccomend modifying or changing other parts?

    Edit: Oops 1100$*

Are you sure it's $11000? That's just a little expensive, no?

I want to get a docking station for my rig, which would be best, Dell Business Thunderbolt Dock - TB16 with 180W Adapter or Dell Precision Dual USB-C Thunderbolt Dock - TB18DC with up to 210W?

WD19DC is probably the best choice unless you actually need a thunderbolt port on the dock. Otherwise TB18DC. Any other dock will require you to connect a regular power cable to the laptop in addition to the dock cable.
