    Still same issue,
My battery dropped to 95% after playing one hr.
System power looks fine but i still think 240w is not enough. I'll check with 330w charger tomorrow.

The system is known to draw from battery power if both the CPU and GPU are under high load. You can plug in a 330W adapter and it will work, but it will not draw any more power than it does with the 240W, so you will have the same problem. (This has been tried before.)

I think there is also some threshold in the charging system.
I observed a lot of times that my battery dropped to around 90-95% before it started charging again.
But it never dropped below that point, so I don't think it's an issue of "not enough power to charge while gaming" otherwise the battery would drop all the way down to 0% (if you would play long enough).

Has anyone been noticing keyboard issues with these systems?
I got mine at launch, over a year and a half ago. Over the last few months I have been frustrated when using the built-in keyboard. It very frequently misses keystrokes and I have to hit keys multiple times for them to register. I thought that it might be a C-states thing, but it happens whether the system is on battery power or plugged in, and I haven't had any "repeated" keys which was another indicator of that problem. I do not have any issues when using an external keyboard. I was wondering if maybe not using the laptop keyboard very much contributed to this problem, since I use it docked >95% of the time.

Anyway... I just had Dell ship me a new keyboard and I'm installing it today, so I'll know soon if it was a physical problem with the original keyboard. But still wanted to see if anyone else had noticed such issues.

    [Edit]
Keyboard swap done. Not too bad but disappointed that you have to remove the bottom cover in order to swap it out (didn't have to with the older M-series Precisions). Anyway, early results are promising, I typed out a paragraph and it didn't miss anything so I am going to call the old keyboard bad.

So even if one has Prosupport/Prosupport Plus and asks for a new keyboard, Dell does not send any technician to your place to fix it but they just send it to you leaving the replacement process to one's manual skills ?

The default is to send a technician over to do it for you.

You can, however, request that Dell just send you the part, and you can do a self-repair. They will ask for some photo evidence, etc.

I requested that they send the part only. I would do this for almost any part unless it was really complicated to replace. (I've been inside these machines enough that I trust myself just as much as any Dell tech.)

They didn't request photo evidence. They didn't even want the old keyboard back. For "cheap" parts like the keyboard they will often just send it to you upon request. I used the online chat, explained my problem, and asked for the new keyboard and they shipped it overnight, no hassle.

But the standard procedure is a technician must come to your place to replace the keyboard, do you confirm this ?

I mean as soon as you told them you needed a new keyboard they replied saying: "ok, we must set an appointment with the technician..." to which you answered something like: "No need, i can do it by myself". Is it correct ?

Basically yes. They will send a technician to perform any part replacement. I cut them off very early in the conversation and asked them to just send the part.
