I did roll back my 7730, but all of my other 4 laptops and desktop are on the new update without issue. Hopefully they will get it sorted quickly.

I successfully performed the update on my 7530.

Two unknown devices were present after 1809 update in Device Manager: DDDriver and DellProf. According to the following link they can be installed using "Dell Client System Analyzer", but I didn't found it.

During my research, I found a website that pointed out audio stutters issue could be related to these two Dell devices:

I didn't installed "Dell Client System Analyzer" and I disabled these devices. Audio seems to work better.

I spoke too soon: audio is not working better, it is same as before disabling devices.

Did you run LatencyMon to see which driver is causing the audio stuttering?

I received an update from Dell on the dock power issue this afternoon. It seems that they have figured out what is causing the problem and will be able to address it via software (no parts replacements needed). The fix will likely come via two firmware updates, one for the system and one for the dock as well. No ETA on deliverables. But, at least there is progress (or so it seems).

Does anyone know why 4K IGZO can’t be with 4G LTE modem? Are there any physical reasons? I simply would like to buy a 4K model and install a modem and antennas later. Does 4K model have a SIM slot?

There are suspicions that the 4K screen interferes with the 4G antenna signal and that's why it is not allowed? Or maybe the thicker display cable prevents the antenna cables from also being routed? There is no official answer from Dell.

If you buy a 7530 or 7730 with a 4K screen, it will have a WWAN card slot and SIM card slot but no antennas. You can install your own card and antennas and try it out. One user got it working with no issues but didn't try putting the antennas up in the display assembly (just didn't want to bother with the disassembly required to install them if I recall), but rather affixed them to the outside of the system running the cables out through the Ethernet port.

Thank you. As long as 7530 w/ a 4K has a SIM card slot, I’ll try shorter antenna lines. The antenna gain might be lower than the original length version, but I will see how it goes.

Just received my Dell Precision 7530 this afternoon. So far everything seems great except for the space bar. I have to hit it in the middle third for it to register a space. If I hit the outer thirds of the space-bar no space is registered. Anyone else experience this? Can I fix this myself or should I call support?

    Thanks,
    TMAY
