    I did not notice that. Hm. Well, let's see what @Div033 and @Mazed say.

    Refer to this post.

    Download that inf file (right-click, Save as, save with filename nv_dispi.inf).

    Download the latest GeForce driver, and double-click to open it. Let it extract (leave the default location), and let the program open. You should see this message:
    [IMG]

    Leave the program open, and navigate to C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\398.36\Win10_64, and copy out the entire International folder to somewhere else, like your Desktop, for instance.

    You can now close the installer. Go to the International folder you copied, and navigate to the subfolder Display.Driver.

    Copy the nv_dispi.inf file from earlier into this folder (overwrite the existing file). Go back to the International folder, and execute setup.exe. Your install should proceed normally.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also, could anyone here attempt overclocking the displays on the 7530? I'm curious to see the effects. Easiest way would be to disable the iGPU and do it from within the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    Ok, followed your instructions to the letter. Same result trying to use Nvidia Inspector, it wont lock the settings.
    Just confirming that it should show Geforce or Quadro in the Inspector window or Quadro
    No matter what i do it wont say Geforce, even did the uninstall process (via DDU 17.0.8.9) to no avail.
    Display can be overclocked in Optimus mode as well. Either way, it is best to use CRU as custom resolutions made in the graphics driver are not usable in games that don't have refresh rate selection inside them.
    Thanks for checking that. You did install the GeForce driver correctly (there is no Quadro 398.36), but it still identifies your card as a Quadro, so overclocking is locked out in the driver. It's a shame. Reminds me of Nvidia's GeForce driver clockblock fiasco in early 2015.
    They labeled "optane/nvme" on the SSD slots. Aren't intel "optane" cached SSDs small density and meant only to supplement conventional platter HDDs? Just a quirk I found interesting in a system that doesn't have a 2.5" bay :)
    Intel's Optane SSDs are small but insanely fast (supposedly, I've never used one), they could also supplement a regular (slower/larger) SSD...
