LouieAtienza, may I ask which m.2 you installed? The user guide fails to mention which variation of m.2 Connector it has, and what form factor it fits.

I installed the 256GB Samsung 950pro NVMe . Warning : you will need a screw to fix the M.2 drive. It is the same size as the one that holds the shield/heatsink down. I do not know its size or pitch, but I had a few from when I re-shelled my M6500. You probably could get an assortment at Micro Center or such.

Note on the screws, they are all Phillips-head, so finding a set of precision screwdrivers is easy.

I used Samsung's cloning utility and it works fine. The only problem I had was that I purchased this machine with the cheap 500GB 5400rpm drive only. I duped everything over to the M.2, but no matter what I did in BIOS every time I booted up it did so from the HDD. Worked fine once I physically removed it. Put in a 850EVO SSD in its place. And yes they're both fast.

Hi, I was wondering how was the sound quality of your 7510 compared to your m6500? Is it better or about the same? Thanks!

I would say better, and maybe louder by virtue of the speakers being closer. Actually the M6500 speakers are one of my least favorite parts of it, but I use powered noise-canceling headphones and powered studio monitors for recording /editing anyway and wouldn't use on board speakers on any notebook for reference.

I also did some stuff live and in studio with Guitar Rig III, and I wouldn't install it on this machine but would be interesting to see how much lower I could get the latency with newer hardware...

But yes, satisfying sound testing with various music videos, and MI5 Rogue Nation...

Weird... I've been lucky with service. I'd give it a shot.
