    Can confirm - eDP only.

On the full sized MxM boards, M5000M and the 980M are it - perhaps the 2048 core version of the 980 MxM and the M5500M as well, if you can get them to fit (they are bigger).

I doubt you could get them to fit in the m4600, The CPU position would clash into 3.0b cards physically unless I overestimate the size.

I'd just as easily get a 7970m as well, but the 965m would easily be a cleaner solution

Guys, if someone have a contact with BIOS engineers or ACPI programmers it would be great:) Coz digging into ACPI alone to solve the problem is really time hungry task. Probably, if I'll not find the solution, I would have no choice other than buying other laptop or at least building eGPU setup...

P.S. I wish M4700 have the same dual fan cooling solution for GPU, but....

    Hey guys I think I found some W5170ms for $23 each: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-FirePro...293051?hash=item5b340d077b:g:68UAAOSwfVpYsrvZ

Nothing obviously wrong with it. Reputable seller, says they're working, specs check out. 3 sold and I bought 3 (I just bought some M6600s to upgrade) so I'm guessing this is a very recent listing with a pricing error. Or maybe I'm in to get scammed. Free shipping and returns though, so I'm not too worried. Most likely it will just be canceled, but fingers crossed!

Does not ship to South Korea. Damn!

Though I dont think I need them, would be fun to play with. Might overclock higher than the m5100? Im running 900 core / 1300 memory.

Wish the portion about volts would stick in the rom, 1.1v would be handled easily by this laptop, stuck at 1.025v

Quick update, they shipped and they did not update the price. Maybe they really think that's what W5170ms are worth... the next cheapest one is $140.

@TheReciever If you like I'll grab another and ship it to you.

OK so update on the original mission: I got a EZP2010 flash programmer and test clip and I flashed the chip to the M5100 BIOS from @valuxin's library. Still same issue, won't turn on. At this point I think I must have killed it. I'll swap in one of the cards I bought instead.

I'd like that, but I couldnt justify the likely shipping price right now. Ill be happy with seeing your experience with it.

The enticing part about that card though is that it fully supports DX12, m5100 is limited to FL 11.1

The last possibility is that the card was dead before you got it and would've never worked anyways.
