    Hello people,

I'm new to the forum, and will appreciate your insight on this matter.

I ordered my 7720 and I'm patiently waiting, preparing myself for its arrival buying ssd and everything work related as my old workstation and all that was stolen from me on a recent trip to Jamaica (long story), due to this event I really really want to have Mobile Broadband on my laptop because if I had that installed on my old Precision M6600 I could of probably track the ws down.

Point is the I got 17.3" UHD IPS Narrow Border (3840x2160) Wide View with Camera and Mic, and it is not compatible with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X7 LTE-A (DW5811e), I'm assuming this is due because of spacing, antenas and the location of the LCD as this two parts are unrelated in all ways.

    So my questions are:

Can I buy this part online, I saw a few on ebay (like this one) or (this one) and try to work my way inside the laptop?

Will I need to buy antenas or other parts separately, as those articles on eBay do not mention anything about it, and if so, what reference can use to look them up?

Any other insights or questions are more than welcome as I'm very exited with this new acquisition which by the way dell has made it impossible, this is my second order this far because they modified my order without letting me know due to a 4K LCD getting out of stock, yeah, lucky me and dell customer service sucks...

It's a coincidence that I just bought a 4K screen with camera of the Precision 7720, and did not buy WWAN. However, I have purchased DW5811e myself, will be installed in a few days after the DW5811e test.

Where did you get your part? Did you get antenas too? Can you please point me to the right direction?

Is just crazy how they have the port available, antenas and everything and do not offer the part.

The advantage is the price tag, dell has it at 129.99 if I'm not mistaken and you bought it for less than $70.

Now, I want to hook this up on my at&t plan, does this have a sim card slot, how do I go about that?

the manual is for the 7710 but most of what you'll find in it pertaining to the layout and design will apply to the 7720 as well. hopefully the PDF for the 7720 will be available for you online soon if it isn't already
