The machine just only have 1 HD as I have them already and just 2 gigs of 1333 ram as I have 2 sticks of 4gb I can toss in as well. Hmm just wondering how much I could get for my Alienware M15X???

Sequential speeds have little consequence in most applications so don't worry about it. I also wouldn't use RAID0 unless you load up lots of programs since a basic Windows load will be slower than vs. a single SSD due to higher access times and loading up of the RAID drivers.

You can see a little more of the M6500 at http://au.autodesk.com/ . You will need to log in though.

i doubt i will ever be able to notice the access times of ssd's in raid or not , i know it would slow windows boot up a little waiting on the raid drivers kicking in but i rarely ever reboot my machine

so i would see more benefit from the increased space and speed

i also dont want a mechanical drive in the system anymore , i have an obscene amount of storage on my network and in external drives so im sorted that way too ,

    i just want everything , and i want it now !! :)

    Skypx -

The Premier site is showing 12/18/2009 as estimated ship date.

My order went into the system yesterday and is showing 1/4/2010 as the estimated arrival date.

My Dell rep says early orders may be in people's hands by Dec 11th.

I can't wait to take lots of pics of the unboxing!
