Dell is going to push out new BIOS updates tomorrow that *revert* the Intel CPU microcode change. Intel sort of made a mess of this fix.

I'm not docked or anything. Windows doesn't see the intel GPU at all, just the Nvidia GPU. screenshots attached of my laptops internal display. BIOS 1.13.6

so you cant get into BIOS screen even? I guess not if internal display isn't working even on bootup. Can you connect to external display either docked or via ports direct form laptop. Then adjust BIOS and reboot with different BIOS video settings?

Right, this is exactly how it supposed to look; there should be no config that disables internal video. This means I was correct in assuming that my video card is bad.
I had the DELL tech over yesterday and he replaced the mobo and video card but now the laptop will not post... I also noticed a bunch of screws are now missing. DELL really sucks these days.

    UPDATE:

Dell replaced the video card and it all works as it should, so Falkentyne was correct and Danishblunt wasn't.

I'm wondering if I have something similar happening. Before updating the BIOS I'm 99% certain the NVidia card was driving my laptop screen as well as both external monitors. After the update, the best I can get is the NVidia card driving 2 devices so to make everything work, both the Intel and NVidia cards are engaged with frequent flashing/drops of the external monitors. Sounds like it's time to call Dell.
