It should. I have two m6600's and to verify my backups, I occasionally restore a win7 system image from machine 1 to a spare drive on machine 2. Always goes without a hitch as long as you pay attention to the bios settings as they are stored on the motherboard, not the hard drive. The bios settings that I've run into specifically that cause a BSOD on boot are the ahci / raid and TPM related.

EDIT: Just wanted to mention I've had to exchange a couple of m6600's and I always just moved my aftermarket SSD from one machine to the next without issue if the BIOS settings are correct.

Ok, that is good news then. I am going to install all my programs. I hear you on the bios settings. My system was set to RAID in the Bios when my system shipped with just one drive. I realized this after I installed windows on my Samsung 830 SSD. After I switched it to AHCI, the system wouldn't boot. So I had to re-install Windows.

I read that even if it is set to RAID and there is only one hard drive, it defaults to AHCI, but I figured I would just set it on AHCI, perhaps same some boot time if its looking for a RAID setup.

Prolly the machine is built by people who will never be able to afford one, and dont really care if its right or good. Congrats on the new machines and hopefully they [it] will serve you well.
