    Wonder if you can get a 680 series card into the rig...would make it just as fast as a 5000m without the $1000 upgrade price...

    The quadro 4000m with a good overclock is slightly better than the 670m as it has 256bit ddr5 compared to the 670m 192bit ddr5. I would have gone the 4000m route but it was 3x as much than my 670m and I only game on it

    Hi all,
    I'd really appreciate if someone could help me. My M8900 gpu recently went dead and i've read this topic and got 670m. Unfortunately, i wasn't attentive and got 670MX instead of M... The laptop turns on, but it didn't recognize the card, so it's just standard gpu in windows and i can't install drivers. Is there a possibility to get it work?

    download drivers from laptopvideo2go, if you don't want to mod the driver yourself.
