Ok, cool. Do you know if Win 8 still has a .hosts file to edit?

For anyone interest in using 130W adapter to go, here is my experience with it.
    - I keep my 240w pluged to the dock
    - 130W old gen(non slim) size : if you cut the 240w in half in the short direction , the thicken it by a inch, widen it by half inches and short by 2inches
    - When plug in, I get the not enough voltage pop up, and lock all the multiplier to 8 , however using throttlestop you can lift that and multiplier float as normal. GPU will declock to 400mhz max (m8900), never try game though
    - It charge with a rate of 2-3W browsing(and again m8900) , but will not charge if you do any intense work.
    130w - $10-15, 240w - ~ $40.

So 130w is fine if you only browse/do presentation on the go.

    A question:

I was getting ready to order another M6600 when I noticed that the display:

17.3" UltraSharp™ FHD(1920x1080) Wide View Anti-Glare LED-backlit with Premium Panel Guarantee [Included in Price]

They no longer offer the WLED. What difference would this make?

Also out of curiosity I checked the M6700 and the display for that is: (I am not interested in the IPS)

17.3" UltraSharp™ FHD (1920x1080) Wide View Anti-Glare, Premium Panel Guarantee [Included in Price]

So the M6700 does not even have the LED. What would I miss not having WLED or LED?

LED or WLED is the same thing, i guess they no longer bother advertising LED because CCFL is mostly inexistant in laptops. Unless you see CCFL or RGB LED in a laptop, you can assume it's WLED.

I see there is no IPS option with Win 8 on the M6700.

Here is the error I get when I choose the IPS screen (17.3" UltraSharp™ FHD (1920x1080) Premier Color IPS RGB Anti-Glare,Premium Panel ), then Win 8...

If I could sell my M6600 for $1,200 I would think about getting the M6700 :) Tempting.
