You wouldn't, on balanced I'm getting between 2 and 3 hours.

Come on Dell allow me to switch to Intel Graphics only in BIOS. :)

Just played Half Life Episode 2 on highest settings for an hour and the machine stayed relatively quiet and cool.

Would you mind running 3dMark 06 and 3dMark 11 for us? Very interested in the results.

Not too impressive! Hopefully the battery life will improve after a few charging cycles.

I think I will go with NVIDIA though to get an extra 30 minutes or so.

Ouch. I wonder if they can make a BIOS update or if this is configured in hardware and cannot be changed. This is one of the most powerful mobile GPUs around right now so it's expected to draw a lot of power, but I don't understand why they can't make a switch. I hope the M5950 in the M4600 is not so power hungry...

Would be interested in whether the UEFI even works this time around, doesn't on my M4500, will have to wait till I receive my M4600 I guess, I know one thing though, if it takes 20 seconds plus to post like my M4500 does, it will be going straight back in the box back to dell.
Some of the lenovo owners aren't having a good time with UEFI or BIOSes

    It's annoying I know.

I did a review for the M6500 and everyone said it sucked so I won't try that again.

3d Mark 06 is nearly down so i'll add the results of that asap

What about the temps? You can use HWinfo32 or HWMonitor.
