Will run tests on the Quadro 3000M tomorrow. It is faster than a lot of mobile cards. I was just harsh in the review on its gaming abilities as compared to the other M6600 offerings. The quadro 3000m also overclocks well - if you are ok with that. Please don't think I was putting down your card or your reasons for buying it.

I may tear down the two M6600s in our repair center later this week to see if the two Quadro cards are the same. I worry about heat sinks and actual chip packages not quite lining up correctly since the MXM standard is still a little loosely defined. These are special machines and may not be as easy to swap cards in as the Alienware machines.

Is there a bios hack where we can adjust the TDP and TRL?

It would be awesome to see if can hit 4.0ghz.

Oh oops, I didn't mean the post the quadro 3000 question in this thread. Meant to put it in the general owners lounge. But if you guys got the answer, it doesn't matter where it's from!

Just got word that an M4600 is heading here and I am going to have at least a couple of weeks with it before it goes to it's owner. It will have the IPS display!

I am planning to do another review on it similar to this one.

The review will probably be just as rambling with lots of detours and dark humor. Since Dell is a Texas company there will probably be some guns. I will probably still post way too many pics and use up way too much bandwidth. So as long as you all are OK with another overblown review I am up for it.

If you have any requests, please let me know.

Can you play around with throttle stop and see what are the over clocking capabilities, see if the TDP and TRL are fully adjustable and how far can you push it. I am looking at getting a similar system, I want a computer with a fully adjustable TDP and TRL. Just like present W510 I have, I have full control over the TDP and TRL settings.

Just wait till I am done with it.

Two space heaters in a small room to see what happens when I run Prime95 and Furmark at the same time when the room is 100F.

Hooking up the M6600 to a PA system to show how good the the mics on the M6600 are at filtering out the mic input - you only thing you know feedback :) Jimi Hendrix would be proud!

I really have to quit watching Top Gear.

This is I was waiting for a very strong review. There are some parts that I don't understand. But there is more than you can really need.
Very very big thanks. Although I already received my machine but I don't have time to work on tests.
This is what I like about Notebookreview. :)
