Well, I've finally got a new screen with almost no corner tint. If I really look I can see it very slightly, but it's much better than all the other screens I've had and wouldn't notice it if I wasn't looking.

Due to a separate issue, dell are swapping it with a replacement system which is going to be an M6700 instead of my current M6600.

I'm worried that the new one will have a corner tint - anyone here with the M6700 with/without corner tint?

    Thanks

DELL swapped my M6500 (RGBLED display and Edge2Edge) with an M6700 (IPS display and Edge2Edge too) and NO corner tint on both systems (the new display is awesome).

    Chers,
    Alex

    Thanks mate.

Do you know if the edge2Edge is the same actual panel as the non-edge2Edge?

No Problem. You should ask Bokeh. Mine is an "LG Philips LP173WF3" [DELL P/N: 4259G].

EDIT: I must correct my statement: this morning I looked a little closer and moved some white windows to all corners and I noticed a slight blue color cast in the lower right corner. I really don't know why I didn't notice it before. Maybe it get's worse by time...
Well, I'm experienced in DELL service calls (9x with my M6500) :)

    Cheers,
    Alex

Ha, was the same with me - I didn't notice it till I read about it then deliberately looked for it, then it annoyed me constantly! Sorry!

The M6600 screen I have now has by far the least tint of the 5 panels I've had. When my new M6700 arrives, if the tint is worse, I can swap the panel with my M6600 panel can't I? I presume the M6600 and M6700 use the same panel?

Don't know if this is helpful. The Premier Color app tell me when my IPS panel was manufactured. Here is a screenshot:

I am eventually going to be getting an M6700 Covet, and my current M6700 "Federal" will be shifted to another person. I will let you all know :)

The Federal M6700 I am typing this on has no corner tint. Just a great overall display.
