Nope, that's a standard mix of entries. Happens now and then. Disregard it.

I've been looking hard at the M4600 with IPS screen.
Based on the benchmarks I've seen, the HD 6770M actually seems like a better gaming option than either of the Quadro upgrades -- but it still seems like it would be underpowered when paired with a 1080p screen. Thoughts?

its slightly more powerful than the quadro 1000, but it seems like the quadro 2000 blows it away.

but there will be better life with the quadros right? due to optimus

From the benches I've seen the 2000 and 5950M are pretty much on par. Optimus will of course grant a better battery life.

Why do you think the 2000m will blow the amd Away? Look at the bandwith of the graphics where the amd is clearling leading which IS better for 1080p...

oops....i was looking at the wrong benchmarks! looks like the 2000m dosent look like a very good deal then?? its the most expensive of the lot and the AMD seems be about the same

will be interesting once the battery life tests come out to see the diff between the amd and the nvidias.

The Quadro 2000M will definitely be better in most professional applications that are supported but if you're a consumer user mostly, then performance and price wise, the AMD is probably the smarter solution with only the hit in battery life.

fan noise might also be less for nvidia-based laptop? GPU generates a lot of heat and optimus will help to keep noise down. am I right?

Depends on what you're doing. In theory, switchable graphics is a great idea, but in reality, it fell short... I'd assume that Optimus is a lot better than previous generations now since it's now capable for workstation cards but in the end I'd wait for reviews to know for sure.
