M6400 UK Delays

    Hi guys is anyone else waiting for an M6400 in the UK.

    I ordered mine on the 9th, was first told 3 working days (laughed on the phone at that) then the online order status was "to be shipped on or before" the 18th - and now its rolled back to the 24th...

    anyone else in the UK waiting now or how long did your order take?

    I ordered 12/7 and expected 1/14 in the US.

    I ordered on the 18th Nov...original delivery date was the 5th Dec, then 12th Dec, then 18th Dec and now it has just moved to 24th Dec.

    I'm not happy to be honest - as each time it has been delayed, I've only been informed the day before. I am starting to think that Dell are stringing me along.

    Are you also waiting for one in the UK Manic?

    Perhaps if there were 50 of us threatening to cancel they might bother to deliver.

    The fact that yours has been delayed so many times already doesnt bode to well.

    Christmas eve delivery just aint going to happen really either is it, christmas days obviously out and the next few days half of everyone wont be working so we are probably looking at some time in January.

    This is the second time this has happened to me and had to cancel (previously ordering a clevo and the uk supplier said they had the parts in stock when they didnt at all).

    I only have a short time in the UK every now and then. Flying out on the 6th so looks like I will have to cancel this one too.

    Wonder if its better to cancel now and order another machine from elsewhere.

    Did you manage to get any real information from your Rep about cause of delay? Mine is now longer answering my emails conveniently after taking the cash.
